Daily Zohar # 2488 – Balak – Sin or no sin
Wheat ‘חִטָּה’, has the numerical value of 22 that represents the 22 Hebrew letters that build the Light of the entire Torah. The Dagesh, which is the dot in the middle of the middle letter ט connects the word to Yessod of Malchut. It protects the connection from Malchut to Binah. Because of that the 22 letters came out of Binah into Zeir Anpin and reveal the upper wisdom through the permutations of the letters.
Rabbi Elazar asks the Yenuka to explain the thought that the first two letters of ‘Wheat’. ‘חט’, implies sin, opens the gate for the other-side to have control. Also we can not find the letters ‘חט’ in the names of the tribes. The absence of the חט protects them from the other-side. Therefore, wheat with ‘חט’, comes with opening for the negative side. The 12 tribes are from the holy side of the 12 permutations of the YHVH name.
