Holy Zohar text. Daily Zohar -4988

Another interpretation: “כְּתַפּוּחַ בַּעֲצֵי הַיַּעַר”, “As an apple tree among the trees of the forest” (Song of Songs 2:3). This is Abraham, who is like an apple tree giving off a pleasant fragrance. And he was distinguished in complete faith (emunah) more than all the people of his generation. And he was distinguished in the aspect of one above and in the aspect of one below, as it is written: “אֶחָד הָיָה אַבְרָהָם”, “Abraham was one” (Ezekiel 33:24).
Notes:
Abraham, likened to an apple tree, embodies complete faith (Chesed), surpassing his generation. His unity (“one”) above (Zeir Anpin) and below (Malchut) distinguishes him as a unifier of divine and earthly realms.

He asks: What is the reason that he was one? And he says: Because there was no other in the world at that time who rose in faith in the Holy One, blessed be He, except for him. Rabbi Chezkiah said to him: But it is
written: “וְאֵת הַנֶּפֶשׁ אֲשֶׁר עָשׂוּ בְּחָרָן”, “And the souls they had made in Haran” (Genesis 12:5), which means that Abraham was converting the men and Sarah the women. Behold, there were others with faith in the Holy One, blessed be He, besides him. He said to him: And yet, they were still not at those upper levels in which Abraham was adorned.
Notes:
Abraham’s oneness reflects his unmatched cleaving to the Holy One, surpassing others, including those he and Sarah converted. Abraham’s unique faith (וְאֵת הַנֶּפֶשׁ) surpasses all, adorning him with higher levels and strengthening the union (zivug) of Zeir Anpin and Malchut.

Afterward, he said to him: I have further heard that Abraham was not called one until he was included with Isaac and Jacob. When he was included with Isaac and Jacob, and the three together became the patriarchs of the world, then Abraham was called one. That is, after he was included as one in all three lines, he was called one, and not before that. And then he was called an apple tree in the world, meaning that he has three colors—white, red, and green—like an apple, which hints at the three lines, and he was distinguished from all the people of his generation. He said to him, “You have spoken well.”
Notes:
Abraham’s oneness, as an apple tree, became complete with Isaac and Jacob, embodying the three lines (חג” ת).
