Daily Zohar # 5094 – Terumah – The light of the supernal book
Daily Zohar 5094

#205
“הַשָּׁמַיִם מְסַפְּרִים כְּבוֹד אֵל וּמַעֲשֵׂה יָדָיו מַגִּיד הָרָקִיעַ” “The heavens declare the glory of God (אֵל), and the firmament tells the work of His hands” (Psalms 19:2)
He asks: What is the meaning of “מְסַפְּרִים” “mesaprim” (they declare/tell)? If you say: Like one who tells a story of things, it is not so. Rather, they shine and sparkle with the sparkling of the supernal light, and they ascend in the Name that is included in the illumination of the supernal perfection — that is, in the Name YHVH, which contains יה (Yah), which is the supernal perfection, which are Aba and Ima.
Notes:
This paragraph revisits and deepens the interpretation of “הַשָּׁמַיִם מְסַפְּרִים” (“the heavens declare,” Psalms 19:2) from earlier sections. “Mesaprim” does not mean ordinary narration or recounting, but radiant, shining, and sparkling with the supernal light. Zeir Anpin (“heavens”) ascends and illuminates through the complete Name YHVH, specifically its יה aspect — embodying the perfect unity and light of Aba (Chokhmah) and Ima (Binah). On Shabbat, this reveals how Zeir Anpin manifests the hidden supernal intellect as a visible, sparkling revelation.
#206
He asks: What is the “סִּפּוּר” “sippur” (telling/declaring) that is said of them: “the heavens declare”? And he answers: They sparkle with the illumination of the perfection of the supernal Book (ספר העליון, Sefer ha-Elyon), which is Aba, and what is drawn from the Book is called “סִּפּוּר” “sippur.” And because of this, they ascend in the complete Name, which is YHVH, and they shine with complete light in the right line, and they sparkle with perfect sparkling in the left line. They sparkle and shine in themselves from within the light of the sparkling of the supernal Book, and they sparkle and shine to every side and direction to which they cleave. For from them — from that sparkling and from the light — every ring and ring shines and sparkles with sparkling; that is, all the sefirot in Malchut that are called “rings.” Because on this day the heavens — which are Zeir Anpin — are crowned and ascend in the Holy Name YHVH more than on the other days.
Notes:
“סִּפּוּר” in “הַשָּׁמַיִם מְסַפְּרִים” (Psalms 19:2) means radiant sparkling from the perfection of Aba (the supernal Book/Chokhmah). Zeir Anpin (“heavens”) ascends in the full Name YHVH, shining complete light on the right (Chessed) and sparkling perfectly on the left (Gevurah). This illumination flows outward to all sides, reaching and activating every “ring” — the sefirot of Malchut — causing them to shine. On Shabbat day, Zeir Anpin receives heightened crowning in YHVH, enabling greater revelation and transmission of supernal light to Malchut than on any other day.
