Holy Zohar text. Daily Zohar -616.

Hebrew translation:

וַיֹּאמֶר אֱלֹהִי”ם יְהִי רָקִיעַ בְּתוֹךְ הַמָּיִם וִיהִי מַבְדִּיל בֵּין מַיִם לָמָיִם, כָּאן הַסּוֹד לְהִתְעַסֵּק בַּתּוֹרָה שֶׁבְּעַל פֶּה וּלְהַפְרִיד בֵּין אִסּוּר וְהֶתֵּר, שֶׁהֵם מַיִם מְתוּקִים, וּמַיִם מָרִים מִצַּד הַשְּׂמֹאל, וְלֹא יָכְלוּ לִשְׁתּוֹת מַיִם כִּי מָרִים הֵם, וּמִצַּד הַיָּמִין וַיִּמְתְּקוּ הַמָּיִם, וְהֵם כְּמוֹ שֶׁדָּם טָהוֹר וְדַם נִדָּה שֶׁצָּרִיךְ לְהַפְרִיד בֵּינֵיהֶם, מִשּׁוּם שֶׁאוֹתָהּ זֻהֲמָה שֶׁהִטִּיל נָחָשׁ בְּחַוָּה, גָּרְמָה לְעָרֵב מֵי טָהֳרָה עִם מֵי הַטֻּמְאָה, וּמִשּׁוּם זֶה תִּקְּנוּ תַקָּנָה זוֹ כְּחוֹבָה לְהַפְרִיד בֵּינֵיהֶם, וְאוֹתוֹ שֶׁהִפְרִיד בֵּינֵיהֶם, זֶה הָרָקִיעַ שֶׁעַל רָאשֵׁי הַחַיּוֹת, שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר בּוֹ וּדְמוּת עַל רָאשֵׁי הַחַיָּה רָקִיעַ, זֶה מטטרו”ן.

 

Tikkun 40 – 3

Genesis 1:7
“וַיַּעַשׂ אֱלֹהִים, אֶת-הָרָקִיעַ, וַיַּבְדֵּל בֵּין הַמַּיִם אֲשֶׁר מִתַּחַת לָרָקִיעַ, וּבֵין הַמַּיִם אֲשֶׁר מֵעַל לָרָקִיעַ; וַיְהִי-כֵן”
“And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament; and it was so”

The Zohar tells us that this verse has the secret of the importance of studying the oral Torah in order to bring the light of the Torah out.
When we exercise our free will to choose between good and bad, we reveal the Light.

The Snake connected Eve to the world of physicality and impurity. The women’s cycle is the process that separates the negative that came from the Snake, which is death, and reconnects her to the Light with a new vessel/seed of life inside of her. It brings new revelation of light and new energy of life to her and to the world.

To block the negativity from reaching beyond the world of Tikkun, Malchut, whole existence is ‘trapped’ in constant motion or endless cycles.

Circular light – The light of the Endless where there’s no beginning and end, no time or limitation.
Linear light – The limited light that comes down from the Endless through the 10 Sefirot to the world of Malchut, physical existence.
Metatron – The archangel that is the ‘gate keeper’. Numerical value of his name is 314 as in Pi that defines the circle from a line point of view.

Our life in this world is the aspect of linear line. There is beginning and end. To move to the endless where life exists with no end we need to break the cycles in Malchut. Only then we can move to life with the aspect of circular light.
In order to connect to the circular light we use meditation and prayers. These prayers can not connect above before passing through the archangel Metatron. If the prayers are not pure, they can’t pass and no new light can come down to the line of Malchut.
