Holy Zohar text. Daily Zohar -662
Hebrew translation:

קָם הַזָּקֵן מֵאַחַר צִלּוֹ שֶׁל רַבִּי שִׁמְעוֹן, וְאָמַר: רַבִּי רַבִּי, כָּךְ שָׁמַעְתִּי אֶת הַפָּסוּק הַזֶּה, שְׂאוּ מָרוֹם עֵינֵיכֶם, שְׂאוּ כְּמוֹ שְׂאוּ יְדֵיכֶם קֹדֶשׁ, וְזֶה קֹדֶשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵל לַיהו”ה רֵאשִׁית, הַמָּרוֹם שֶׁלּוֹ כֶּתֶר עֶלְיוֹן. מִי – הָאֵם הָעֶלְיוֹנָה שֶׁבָּרָא הָעוֹלָם בְּאֵלֶּה. מִי הֵם אֵלֶּה? אֵלֶּה רָאשֵׁי בֵית אֲבוֹתָם, וְהֵם שְׁלֹשֶׁת הָאָבוֹת. הַמּוֹצִיא בְמִסְפָּר צְבָאָם, אֵלּוּ צְבָא הַשָּׁמַיִם שֶׁהֵם נֵצַח וְהוֹד, מַה מִּסְפָּר שֶׁלָּהֶם? אֶלָּא מִסְפָּר וְחֶשְׁבּוֹן שֶׁבַּכֹּל, זֶה הַשְּׁכִינָה הָעֶלְיוֹנָה. לְכֻלָּם בְּשֵׁם יִקְרָא, זוֹ הַשְּׁכִינָה הַתַּחְתּוֹנָה, שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר לְמֹשֶׁה בִּשְׁבִילָהּ וָאֵדָעֲךָ בְּשֵׁם. מֵרֹב אוֹנִים, אוֹתוֹ שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר בּוֹ וְיִדְגּוּ לָרֹב בְּקֶרֶב הָאָרֶץ, וְזֶה צַדִּיק, וְהוּא אַמִּיץ כֹּחַ, אִישׁ צַדִּיק, הַכֹּחַ שֶׁלּוֹ הוּא הַכֹּחַ שֶׁל מַעֲשֵׂה בְרֵאשִׁית, שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר בּוֹ וְעַתָּה יִגְדַּל נָא כֹּחַ אדנ”י, לֹא נֶעְדָּר מֵהַשְּׁכִינָה לְעוֹלָם, וְזֶה וָזֶה הַכֹּל אֱמֶת, שִׁבְעִים פָּנִים לַתּוֹרָה.

Isaiah 40:26
“שְׂאוּ-מָרוֹם עֵינֵיכֶם וּרְאוּ מִי-בָרָא אֵלֶּה, הַמּוֹצִיא בְמִסְפָּר צְבָאָם; לְכֻלָּם, בְּשֵׁם יִקְרָא, מֵרֹב אוֹנִים וְאַמִּיץ כֹּחַ, אִישׁ לֹא נֶעְדָּר”
“Lift up your eyes on high, and see: who hath created these? He that bringeth out their host by number, He calleth them all by name; by the greatness of His might, and for that He is strong in power, not one faileth.”

The Zohar brings a new explanation to this verse presented by the ‘Elder’. He is a mysterious figure that appears in the Zohar many times to bring explanations to deep secrets that Rabbi Shimon discusses.

שְׂאוּ-מָרוֹם, “Lift up” is as in Psalms 134:2 “שְׂאוּ-יְדֵכֶם קֹדֶשׁ” “Lift up your hands to the Holy”. The Holy is Israel for YHVH (Jeremiah 2:3)
מָרוֹם, “on high” is Keter, “מִי-בָרָא”,”Who that Created”, is Binah that Created the world.

“Bring out their host” is Netzach, “calleth them all by name” is Hod. Name reveals the identity of its carrier and here it represents the Shechina that is the aspect of all vessels in existence.
“By the greatness of his might” is for Yessod and the righteous man that connects and reveals the action of Creation and is always with the Shechina.

The Elder closes his explanation and says that both explanations by him and Rabbi Shimon are true because there are 70 ‘faces’ to the Torah.

When dealing with light, which is the purest form of life energy, it can be channeled in all positive ways. This is the power of the Zohar and its pure energy that we can reveal in our lives in many ways.
