Tikkun 65 – 1
בְּרֵאשִׁית בָּ’רָ’א אֱ’לֹהִי’ם, “In the Beginning God created…”. The first and last letters make the words for Father אב and Mother אם.
“And the man said: ‘The woman whom Thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.’”
“And the man called his wife’s name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.”
The Zohar asks “Isn’t she the same woman that was said on her ‘the woman whom you have given to me’?”
In the first verse, Adam refers to “the woman” and on the second, to “his wife”
Rabbi Shimon said that there were two different women. One is the aspect of Good inclination and the other one is the aspect of Evil inclination. The Negative one connected to the sin and brought death to the world. And the other one is Eve, ‘The mother of all living’.
After the sin Adam connected to the negative woman for 130 years before returning to Eve. From their relationship came out to the world’s negative souls that brought negativity to the world. They were the seed of the Erev Rav and the desire for the self alone.
