Zohar Shelach Lecha
Continued from previous DZ
The person with the ‘backpack of precious stones’ joined the discussion on the verse from Ecclesiastes 3:19 and explains that King Solomon didn’t state his personal views but repeated what the foolish people of the world would say.
They say that man and beast are the same in this world because they can’t reach the level of wisdom that comes from Chokmah. They live with the thought that everything is random.
Most people believe in God and its supernal governess of this world but at the same time they don’t understand why things happen in their lives. There is a need to connect to the higher spiritual levels to gain greater understanding of the events in their lives. Without that they they see hardships in their lives as something random or that they don’t deserve it because they are ‘good people’. If they experience good and comfortable life they think that God gave it to them as a reward for their good actions.
