43. וְהַכֹּל נִסְתָּר בָּזֶה שֶׁנִּקְרֵאת אֵם הָעֶלְיוֹנָה, שֶׁמִּמֶּנָּה מִתְעוֹרֵר כֹּחַ לָאֵם הַתַּחְתּוֹנָה. וּמַהוּ? שֶׁכָּתוּב בָּהּ, (ישעיה נא) וּלְאוּמִּי אֵלַי הַאֲזִינוּ. אַל תִּקְרֵי לְאוּמִּי אֶלָּא לְאִמִּי. שֶׁלֹּא זָז הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא מִלְּחַבֵּב אֶת כְּנֶסֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל עַד שֶׁקָּרָא לָהּ אִמִּי. וְזֶה יוֹצֵא מֵהָאֵם הָעֶלְיוֹנָה, שֶׁהִיא בַּיִת שֵׁנִי, שֶׁנִּקְרֵאת ה’ שֶׁל הַשֵּׁם הַקָּדוֹשׁ, שֶׁנִּפְתַּחַת לַחֲמִשִּׁים שְׁעָרִים, וּמִזֶּה יוֹצֵא רוּחַ לְנֶקֶב אֶחָד שֶׁל חוֹר הַחֹטֶם.
44. וְשָׁנִינוּ, הַיּוֹבֵל שֶׁיּוֹצְאִים בּוֹ הָעֲבָדִים לְחֵרוּת, בַּמֹּחַ הַזֶּה נֶאֱחָז, וְהֵם חֲמִשִּׁים שְׁנוֹת הַיּוֹבֵל, וְהֵם חֲמִשִּׁים יְמֵי סְפִירַת הָעֹמֶר בּוֹ נֶאֱחָזִים, שֶׁבָּהֶם נָחוֹת רוּחוֹת הָעֲבָדִים וּמוֹצִיאִים רוּחָם (וּמוֹצִיא רוּחוֹ) לִמְנוּחָה, כְּמוֹ שֶׁכָּתוּב (שם יד) בְּיוֹם הָנִיחַ ה’ לְךָ מֵעָצְבְּךָ וּמִרָגְזֶךָ וּמִן הָעֲבֹדָה וְגוֹ’. וּמִשּׁוּם זֶה, ה’ מְנוּחַת הָרוּחַ, וּלְהוֹצִיא רוּחַ לַחֵרוּת. וּבְבַיִת זֶה תְּלוּיָה יְצִיאַת מִצְרַיִם, וּבָאוֹת ה’ שֶׁל הַשֵּׁם הַקָּדוֹשׁ, כְּמוֹ שֶׁנִּתְבָּאֵר. עַד כָּאן כְּלָל שֶׁל י”ה שֶׁל הַשֵּׁם הַקָּדוֹשׁ.

The gates of Binah are also the aspect of the counting of the Omer that represent the number of days from the Exodus to the receiving of the Torah on Mount Sinai. Also the 50 jubilee years.
The first two chambers represent the two letters Yי and Hה of the name father (Chokmah) and Binah (Mother). The two letters are also the aspect of the right and left brain.
Binah creates an opening from the upper levels and through Da’at delivers the Light of Ruach to Zeir Anpin. It is the aspect of the Vו of the name, central column, and the nose that receives the life force from Binah through the nostrils.
