Zohar Vayishlach
Continued from previous DZ
#115
The force of holiness should be increased in the world to reveal the merits of Jacob’s name change to Israel, “for you have struggled with God and with men, and have prevailed.”
Because the thigh tendon is not broken, it is ignored, and people refrain from eating it. Disconnecting from it breaks the power of Sama-l, and he can’t hurt the children of Jacob. For that reason, we should not consume it or draw benefits from it.

#116
Genesis 32:33
“Therefore to this day the children of Israel do not eat the muscle that shrank (thigh tendon גִּיד הַנָּשֶׁה), which is on the hip socket, because He touched the socket of Jacob’s hip in the muscle that shrank.”

Numbers 19:13
“Whoever touches the body of anyone who has died, and does not purify himself, defiles the tabernacle of the LORD. That person shall be cut off from Israel. He shall be unclean because the water of purification was not sprinkled on him; his uncleanness is still on him.”

Rabbi Yeisa Sava explained that “He touched the socket of Jacob’s hip” is similar to “Whoever touches the body of anyone who has died” because there is an impurity in both cases. Sama-l defiled the place by touching it.
Numbers 19:22
“Whatever the unclean person touches shall be unclean, and the person who touches it shall be unclean until evening.'”

The Torah specifically mentioned that touching is a connection to impurity. We should keep a distance from all kinds of impurity because the negative side touched it. We should not even enjoy it.
Bless is the Merciful one that gave the Torah to Israel to earn merits in this world and in the world to come as it is written;
Proverbs 3:16
“Length of days is in her right hand, In her left-hand riches and honor.”

Friday would be a good day to make a ** Donation, especially if you didn’t donate in the past week. Giving on Friday, which is an aspect of Yessod, expands the vessel for the Light and honor of Shabbat.
** Your donation doesn’t have to be given to the same place every week. You can alternate or split your gift among those who benefit you spiritually.
