Holy Zohar text. Daily Zohar -3873

Hebrew translation:

117. וְלָכֵן סוֹד הַדָּבָר – יֵשׁ יָמִין לְמַעְלָה וְיֵשׁ יָמִין לְמַטָּה. יֵשׁ שְׂמֹאל לְמַעְלָה וְיֵשׁ שְׂמֹאל לְמַטָּה. יֵשׁ יָמִין לְמַעְלָה בִּקְדֻשָּׁה עֶלְיוֹנָה. וְיֵשׁ יָמִין לְמַטָּה שֶׁהוּא בַּצַּד הָאַחֵר. יֵשׁ שְׂמֹאל לְמַעְלָה בִּקְדֻשָּׁה עֶלְיוֹנָה, לְעוֹרֵר אַהֲבָה, לְהִתְקַשֵּׁר לַלְּבָנָה, בְּמָקוֹם קָדוֹשׁ לְמַעְלָה לְהָאִיר.
118. וְיֵשׁ שְׂמֹאל לְמַטָּה שֶׁמַּפְרִיד אַהֲבָה שֶׁלְּמַעְלָה, וּמַפְרִיד אוֹתָהּ מִלְּהָאִיר בַּשֶּׁמֶשׁ וּלְהִתְקָרֵב עִמּוֹ, וְזֶהוּ הַצַּד שֶׁל הַנָּחָשׁ הָרָע. שֶׁכַּאֲשֶׁר הַשְּׂמֹאל הַזֶּה שֶׁלְּמַטָּה מִתְעוֹרֵר, אָז הוּא מוֹשֵׁךְ אֶת הַלְּבָנָה וּמַפְרִידָהּ מִלְמַעְלָה, וְאוֹרָהּ נֶחְשָׁךְ, וְנִדְבֶּקֶת בַּנָּחָשׁ, וְאָז שׁוֹאֶבֶת מָוֶת לְמַטָּה לַכֹּל, כִּי נִדְבֶּקֶת בַּנָּחָשׁ וּמִתְרַחֶקֶת מֵעֵץ הַחַיִּים, וְלָכֵן גּוֹרֶמֶת מָוֶת לְכָל הָעוֹלָם. וְזֶהוּ כַּאֲשֶׁר נִטְמָא הַמִּקְדָּשׁ עַד זְמַן קָצוּב כְּשֶׁמִּתְתַּקֶּנֶת הַלְּבָנָה וְשָׁבָה לְהָאִיר, וְזֶהוּ אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד.

The secret is that there is Right above, which is the holiness, and there is Right below on the side of the Sitra Achra. In the supernal holiness, the Left above is to awaken love that would connect the moon, Malchut, to Zeir Anpin to illuminate.

A Left below separates the supernal love and prevents Malchut from coming closer to the sun, Zeir Anpin, and illuminating herself from his Light.
This is the side of the evil Snake because when the Left below rises, it draws the moon, Malchut, and separates her from Zeir Anpin. The Light in Malchut is darkened when she is close to the Snake. Those who distant themselves from the Tree of Life draw death from below.
Because of the Left on the side of the Snake, the sin that connected us to the Tree of Knowledge brought death to the world. For the same reason, the Holy Temple that is Malchut defiles until a certain time when the moon is corrected and can restore its illumination. This state is called “אוהל מועד” “Tent of Meeting.”
