Zohar Ki Tisa
Continued from previous DZ
#115
When the Holy One Blessed be He judges the world, he does it according to the majority of people. The sin of Adam connected the world to the Tree of Knowledge, Good and Bad. This connection brought death to Malchut and a separation between the woman and her husband, which is a separation between Zeir Anpin and Malchut.
This sin caused a flaw in the moon that references Malchut, and it was in effect until Israel arrived at Mount Sinai, ready to receive the Torah. At that time, the flaw in the moon was removed, meaning death and separation that was forced by the connection to the Tree of Knowledge was no longer in effect. The moon was in a state of having continuous Light.
Because of the sin of the Golden Calf, the flaw in the moon was restored, and the Snake could have control again. Israel lost the Light of immortality again.

Lesson;
The presence of the Torah on Mount Sinai removes darkness from the children of Israel. When they connected to the Golden Calf, it was similar to Adam and Eve connecting to the Tree of Knowledge Good and Bad that brought mortality on them and all generations that followed them.
The Torah has the force of life that we can activate. For that reason, great righteous people, like Rabbi Shimon and other Tanaim, could have control over nature and resurrect the dead.

#116
Moses knew that when Israel made the Golden Calf, the mark of Holiness that they received at Mount Sinai was removed from them. That situation allowed the Snake to control the flawed moon, Malchut.
To protect the people, Moses moved the Holy Tabernacle outside and away from the camp of Israel and called it “אוהל מועד” “tent of meeting.”
The word “מועד” can mean “a known time” “holiday” “day of the event,” and It could mean a time of meeting, as the alternate name to the Holy Tabernacle is commonly translated as “tent of meeting.” Outside the camp, the HolyTabernacle represented a limited time of life and not a continuous flow of Light.

Exodus 33:7
“Moses took his tent and pitched it outside the camp, far from the camp, and called it the tabernacle of meeting. And it came to pass that everyone who sought YHVH went out to the tabernacle of meeting which was outside the camp.”
Joshua had the mark of Holiness, but since Malchut was flawed and went back to the state after Adam’s sin, Joshua also lost his state of immortality. The sin of many impacted all.
Moses was married to Shechina; he was above Malchut and could keep the state of immortality. Mose’s death was not handled by the people of this world but by the word of Hashem.
Deuteronomy 34:5
“So Moses, the servant of YHVH, died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of YHVH.”
“And He buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, opposite Beth Peor; but no one knows his grave to this day.”

Lesson;
Moses doesn’t have a normal state of death, and Hashem buried him where no one could reach, meaning in a spiritual place. Moses’s soul appears in every generation to have a continuous presence in this world, awaiting the time when the generation has merits to see Mashiach.
While many Tzadikim had the revelation of Elijah the prophet, Rabbi Shimon was on a high spiritual level and could have discourses with Moses and Elijah during his profound Torah studies.
Rabbi Shimon, Moses, and Elijah are in the Zohar. We can draw continuous blessings when we study the Zohar.
