#130
Rabbi Aba said, lower waters spread to several sides, that is, to the Right and Left, and upper waters gather in a pool of water, which is Yessod of Zeir Anpin, which is written;
Genesis 1:9,10
“Then God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear”; and it was so.” “And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters He called Seas. And God saw that it was good.”

This scripture explains that this firmament, with the sun, moon, stars, and constellations, which is the Yessod of Zeir Anpin that includes all the lights of Zeir Anpin. This is the pool, which receives all the water, meaning all the lights, and waters the earth, which is the lower world, Malchut. Since the earth receives water, it disperses it and distributes it in all directions, and from there, everything will be watered.

#131
While there are judgments in the world, Malchut does not draw from that firmament, only from the Left side that is not included in the Right. Then Malchut is called “The sword of YHVH is filled with blood” as we read in;
Isaiah 34:6
“The sword of YHVH is filled with blood; It is made overflowing with fatness, With the blood of lambs and goats, With the fat of the kidneys of rams. For YHVH has a sacrifice in Bozrah, And a great slaughter in the land of Edom.”

Woe to those who then nurse and draw water from Malchut because, at that time, the sea, which is Malchut, draws from two sides, from the Yessod of Zeir Anpin and the Left side. Therefore it was divided into two parts, white from Yessod, and red from the Left, then it pours the part of Egypt, which is red, into the Nile from its root above to its lower level. Israel drew and drank water from the white side of Malchut, and the Egyptians drank the blood that is the red side of Malchut.
