161. וּמִכָּל אֵלֶּה אָנוּ נוֹטְלִים תְּרוּמַת ה’ בְּכָל זְמַן וּזְמַן, כְּדֵי לְהַשְׁרוֹת עָלֵינוּ. בְּרֹאשׁ הַשָּׁנָה אָנוּ נוֹטְלִים תְּרוּמַת ה’, וְהוּא סוֹד שֶׁל רֹאשׁ הַשָּׁנָה, שֶׁבָּא מִצַּד הַזָּהָב. בְּיוֹם הַכִּפּוּרִים אָנוּ נוֹטְלִים אוֹתָהּ, וְהִיא יוֹם הַכִּפּוּרִים שֶׁיּוֹרֶשֶׁת הַבַּת אֶת הָאֵם. בְּסֻכּוֹת אָנוּ נוֹטְלִים אוֹתָהּ, וְהִיא סֻכָּה, סוֹכֶכֶת וּמְגִנָּה עָלֵינוּ, וְכָתוּב (במדבר כט) בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁמִינִי עֲצֶרֶת תִּהְיֶה לָכֶם, וְזוֹהִי תְּרוּמַת ה’.
162. בְּפֶסַח אַף כָּךְ אָנוּ נוֹטְלִים אוֹתָהּ, וְהִיא פֶּסַח. וַהֲרֵי בֵּאַרְנוּ, סוֹד הַגָּוֶן שֶׁל אוֹר הַתְּכֵלֶת. בְּשָׁבוּעוֹת אָנוּ נוֹטְלִים אוֹתָהּ, וְהִיא שְׁתֵּי הַלֶּחֶם, וְכָתוּב (שמות כ) וַיְדַבֵּר אֱלֹהִים אֵת כָּל הַדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶּה לֵאמֹר. וְאָנוּ נוֹטְלִים מִתּוֹרָה שֶׁבִּכְתָב תּוֹרָה שֶׁבְּעַל פֶּה. חֲמִשָּׁה עָשָׂר בְּאָב, הוּא עָמַד בְּשִׂמְחָה עַל בְּנוֹת יִשְׂרָאֵל. כָּל שְׁאָר הַיָּמִים הֵם לַתִּקּוּן שֶׁלָּהּ, וְלָכֵן כָּתוּב אֲשֶׁר תִּקְחוּ מֵאִתָּם.

And from all these materials, we take the Terumat Hashem (offering to Hashem)—which is Malchut, as it is written: “וְזֹאת הַתְּרוּמָה אֲשֶׁר תִּקְחוּ מֵאִתָּם זָהָב וָכֶסֶף וּנְחֹשֶׁת.” “And this is the offering that you shall take from them” (Exodus 25:3). This occurs at all appointed times (holidays) in order to draw Malchut upon us. On Rosh Hashanah, we take the offering of Hashem, which is the secret of Rosh Hashanah coming from the side of gold—representing Gevurah because Malchut is connected to Gevurah. Yom Kippur, we take Malchut, for Yom Kippur is Malchut, and since the daughter (Malchut) inherits from the mother (Binah), Yom Kippur is rooted in Binah, which is also called Yom Kippur. On Sukkot, we take Malchut, which is the Sukkah, providing shelter and protection over us. And it is written: “בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁמִינִי עֲצֶרֶת תִּהְיֶה לָכֶם” “On the eighth day, there shall be an assembly (Atzeret) for you” (Numbers 29:35), and this is the offering to Hashem, meaning Malchut, which is called Atzeret.

Through each Holiday, we elevate and draw divine presence into the world, ensuring that Malchut is continuously refined and uplifted.

On Passover, we also take Malchut, and it is called Pesach. We have already established that it corresponds to the light of the color of the techelet (sky-blue wool). On Shavuot, we take Malchut, and the two loaves represent it. It is written about the giving of the Torah: “וַיְדַבֵּר אֱלֹהִים אֵת כָּל הַדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶּה לֵאמֹר” “And God spoke all these words, saying” (Exodus 20:1). Through this, we take from the Written Torah the Oral Torah, which is Malchut.
On the 15th of Av (Tu B’Av), Malchut stands in joy over the daughters of Israel. And all other days throughout the year are meant for the rectification (Tikun) of Malchut. And for this reason, it is written: “אֲשֶׁר תִּקְחוּ מֵאִתָּם” “which you shall take from them” (Exodus 25:3)—in plural form, indicating that Malchut is received and elevated through many different times and processes.
