Daily Zohar # 4374 – Beresheet – Forty days and forty nights, where was the water
Daily Zohar 4374

To be short in prayers, as in Numbers 12:13.
In the place of the י Y, the short prayer “please heal her” is extended to the V.
Deuteronomy 9:18
“And I fell down before YHVH, as at the first, forty days and forty nights; I neither ate bread nor drank water, because of all your sin which you committed in doing wickedly in the sight of YHVH, to provoke Him to anger.”
Moses falling dowm before Hashem was represented by the letter פ, numerically 80, for the 40 days and 40 nights that Moses was on Mount Sinai with Hashem. The secret is in the letters ו V and פ P in the word “וָאֶתְנַפַּל.” The letter ‘מ’ is 40, and the two ‘מ’ with the י Y in the middle spell the word ‘מים,’ ‘water’ that represents Chassadim. From the side of Chessed, we make longer prayers.
#210
And in the holy name YHVH, the Revia that is a cantillation rises in the quadrant and needs to be extended in this movement, which is the secret of Shofar blowing, Tekiah. The Shofar blowing of Shevarim is shortened. The medium is neither short nor long. The Shofar blowing, Teruah, is for the middle column, which is the cantillation Shalshelet, both of which are the Holy Shekel (שֶׁקֶל הַקֹּדֶשׁ).
The Ravia is a cantilation from the side of Right and Chassadim, and it is the aspect of the Shofar blowing Tekiah and should be extended. The Shalshelet is the aspect of the middle column.
The cantillation Tevir is the aspect of the Left, Gevurah, and the Shofar blowing of Shevarim. It should be short.
#211
Parallel to the cantillation of Ravia is the Nikkud of Cholam. Shevarim corresponds to the Nikkud of Sheva. The voice should be raised higher with the cantillation of Ravia. The voice should be lowered with Tevir, Aramaic for Shevarim because it is Gevura. Teruah is the aspect of the Middle line called Shalshelet in the secret of the letter י Y between the two ‘מ’ as explained above. When the middle line, Teruah, and Shalshelet, joins the י Y, the Right line is revealed in its perfection and is called Segolta of the cantillations.
