Daily Zohar # 4810 – Vayakhel – Best time for Zivug

Zohar Vayakhel
Continued from previous DZ
#195
He said: “Indeed, a Zivug (union) takes place on this night.” What is the reason? It is because this night of Shabbat, which is Malchut, distributes souls to all those sages who know the secrets of wisdom. and there is no other day when a Zivug occurs with perfect joy, without any mixture of the Sitra Achra, as it does on this night of Shabbat. Because these souls that she distributes, she gives specifically to the sages, the righteous, and the pious, in the proper way. And indeed, on every night, a Zivug between Zeir Anpin and Malchut takes place. When does it occur? At midnight. and this has already been established. However, this weekday Zivug is not complete in all aspects, as is this Zivug of Shabbat night.
#196
Because of this, the sages who know the secrets must prepare their union (Zivug) for this night. What is the reason? This is because, throughout all the days of Shabbat, we have a certain spirit that dwells upon the world (as explained above in #176). But on this night, we have a different, supreme, and holy spirit that descends upon the holy children. And this spirit blows from Atika Kadisha (Atika D’Kol Atikin, which is Keter (of the highest emanation). And it descends to the Lower Point (Malchut) to bring rest and peace to all. And this spirit is divided to all directions, above and below, as it is written: “בֵּינִי וּבֵין בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל” “Between Me and the Children of Israel” (Exodus 31:17).
Notes:
Shabbat night (Friday night) is not merely a time of physical rest—it is a time when the highest divine force flows into the world, making it a moment of ultimate spiritual elevation and connection. Those who are aware of this can align themselves with the divine flow, maximizing the holiness and blessings of Shabbat.
