And even though it is written: “הִנֵּה מִטָּתוֹ שֶׁלִּשְׁלֹמֹה שִׁשִּׁים גִּבֹּרִים סָבִיב לָהּ מִגִּבֹּרֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל” “Behold the bed of Shlomo—sixty mighty ones surround it, of the mighty of Israel” (Song of Songs 3:7), the “bed of Shlomo” is the secret of Malchut. And all of them (the mighty ones) guard her. Why do they guard her? Because it is written: “מִפַּחַד בַּלֵּילוֹת” “Because of the fear at night” (Song of Songs 3:8), this refers to the fear of Gehinnom (hell), which stands opposite her (Malchut) in order for her to push it away. And because of this, all of them surround her.

And even though all of them stand within the illumination of the “Unknown Thought,” which is the Head of Atik, known as “the Unknowable Head” (רדל” א), this light of the Unknown Thought struck the light of the Parsa (barrier), which separates Binah from the three Heads of Arich Anpin, and the separation (Parsa) was nullified, and they (the lights) illuminated together. The three Heads of Arich Anpin rose up into רדל” א (Radl” a). After the barrier (Parsa) was nullified, and they shone together with Radl” a, and the three Heads of Arich Anpin became included within one another, and each one of the three was included in the other, and they became nine palaces (היכלות Heichalot).
Notes:
Radl” a (רדל”א, the Unknown Head/Thought) is the supreme source of divine will and wisdom. When its light shines strongly, it breaks the barrier (Parsa) separating the higher and lower levels. This enables the Three Heads of Arich Anpin to rise and unify with Radl” a, leading to a complete fusion of divine wisdom and will. This unification manifests as nine spiritual palaces, symbolizing the complex, harmonized structure of divine consciousness at the highest levels.
This passage teaches us that even in the loftiest realms of spiritual existence, unity and integration are essential.
The shattering of separation between levels allows for a harmonious divine flow from the Unknown Head/Thought (Radl” a) into the framework of reality, ultimately shaping the spiritual architecture of existence.
