Alternative explanation on the verse “ד״א ואֵד יַעֲלֶה מִן הָאָרֶץ” “And a mist would rise from the earth” (Genesis 2:6): Its Aramaic translation is: וְעֲנַנָּא יִסְתַלֵּק מִן אַרְעָא – “And a cloud shall rise from the earth.” This is the same as the verse: “כִּי עֲנַן ה’ עַל הַמִּשְׁכָּן יוֹמָם” – “For the cloud of Hashem was upon the Mishkan by day” (Exodus 40:38). That is, the cloud refers to the Shechinah. At the end of days, when Moses will return, then the Shechinah will rise, and through her, the Torah scholars in the land will be nourished. And the Torah scholars in the land will be “watered” — that is, they will receive Mochin from the Shechinah.

At that time “וַיִּיצֶר ה’ אֱלֹקִים אֶת הָאָדָם” “And Hashem Elokim formed the man” (Genesis 2:7). This refers to Israel, whom the Holy One, Blessed be He, formed with the forms (ציורים) of both This World and the World to Come. “ציורין”, “forms,” means measurements or structures of spiritual stature — that is, the levels of Mochin. The meaning is: at that time, the Holy One will bestow upon them the Mochin of Malchut, which is called This World, and of Binah, which is called the World to Come, as will be explained further in detail.

“כִּי מֵרֹאשׁ צֻרִים אֶרְאֶנּוּ” “For from the top of the rocks I see him” (Bamidbar/Numbers 23:9) The word “צֻרִים” (rocks) hints at the “forms” (ציורים) of the Holy Name that will be imprinted on their faces, corresponding to the two precious tablets, which are two Yuds (י י) with a Vav (ו) engraved between them. This explains the verse “וַיִּיצֶר ה’ אֱלֹקִים אֶת הָאָדָם” (“And Hashem Elokim formed the man”), where the double Yud in וַיִּיצֶר alludes to the upper spiritual faculties (Mochin). “מֵרֹאש” (from the head) refers to the Mochin of the upper sefirot, and “צֻרִים” refers to the measured spiritual forms (or “structures”) of Mochin. “אֶרְאֶנּוּ” (I see him) implies the transmission of Mochin of Chochmah, which are perceived as vision (sight) and will be reflected in the two cheeks (facial aspects) of the soul, symbolized by the two Tablets — representing the right and left sides, or the two Yuds of the holy unification יאהדונה”י.
The Vav (ו) that connects them represents the six letters of אהדונ״ה, and they are engraved spiritually at the level of the nose (חטם hotem) — the spiritual channel for supernal flow.

Furthermore, He (the Holy One) formed for them (Israel) in every generation through His upper mate, which is Y-H (י״ה), and they (Israel) are the Vav (ו)—this is the unification of both. That is to say, the Holy One blessed be He forms and bestows Mochin upon Israel in every generation through His upper spouse, which is Binah, referred to by the letters Y-H. These two letters unite with the Vav, which is Zeir Anpin, and through this unification, they generate the spiritual structure for all generations. This is why בינה Binah is spelled as בן י״ה (the son of Y-H), pointing to Zeir Anpin (the “son”) who unites the upper two letters (Yud and Heh).
The Holy One forms and bestows upon Israel from those upper spiritual forms (ציורים), meaning Zeir Anpin, who is also called Israel, the middle column that includes both the upper and lower Shechinah together. These two are represented by reciting of the Shema prayer of evening (Arvit) and morning (Shacharit), about which it is written: “עֶצֶם מֵעֲצָמַי וּבָשָׂר מִבְּשָׂרִי” – “Bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh” (Bereshit 2:23) This refers to the unification that happens when Zeir Anpin receives Mochin of Chayah (high-level mochin), at which time his two female counterparts—Leah (upper Shechinah) and Rachel (lower Shechinah)—become one face (Partzuf = spiritual structure), and he is called Israel, which is an acronym for Lamed-Yud (לי) RaSh (ראש) — “a head unto Me”.
Thus, he forms them (Israel) with those supernal forms (ציורים), with Mochin of Chayah, and becomes the middle column that includes both the upper and lower Shechinah. The upper Shechinah, Leah, corresponds to Shema of Shacharit, and the lower Shechinah, Rachel, to Shema of Arvit. And this is the meaning of: “Bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh”, where Leah (upper Shechinah) is called “bone”, and Rachel (lower Shechinah) is called “flesh”.
Through the complete building (בניין) from Aba and Ima (Chochmah and Binah), they become one spiritual structure, hence the verse refers to them with both “bone” and “flesh”.
