Pinchas 422, 423
The Stomach is described by the Zohar as a ‘baker’ that processes the food and ‘broadcasts’ its energy to the entire body. The lungs are the aspect of the ‘butler’ that delivers the drinks to the entire body. The lungs keep the vitality of the blood that is the fluid that is delivered to every cell of the body.
Song of Songs 5:1
“אָכַלְתִּי יַעְרִי עִם-דִּבְשִׁי שָׁתִיתִי יֵינִי עִם-חֲלָבִי; אִכְלוּ רֵעִים, שְׁתוּ וְשִׁכְרוּ דּוֹדִים”
“I have eaten my honeycomb and my honey; I have drunk my wine and my milk. Friends Eat, friends, and drink; drink your fill of love.”
The heart is the king and is served with the best of everything by the baker and the butler. After that all the others can have their share.
Everything we eat and do affect our heart. He is the king of the body and without him functioning at its best, the body that is his kingdom will break down and disappear. Serve your king with your best and he will sustain you for a long time.
On airplanes we are showed a short safety video that instructs us on how to use the breathing masks. In case of emergency and change of air pressure we should place the oxygen mask on ourselves first before taking care of the children. We should be strong and in control to be able to help the little ones so close to our heart.
