When the Holy one Bless be He is in unity with the Shechina the supernal worlds and angels receive blessings from this connection of holiness. For that reason our sages established the process of 7 blessings for the bride and groom to connect them to blessing and unity with the Holy one, Bless be He.

The wedding ring represent the letter י, Y from the YHVH, the finger is Vav, the two witnesses are the two Heh so the name YHVH is complete in the connection.

On the time of unification it said (Song of Songs 1:2) “יִשָּׁקֵנִי מִנְּשִׁיקוֹת פִּיהוּ” “.. will kiss me from the kisses of his mouth…”. His mouth פִּיהוּ is P+YHV, to point to the higher connection of יהוּ of the Holy name. The 2 lips of the male and the 2 lips of the woman with the two arms of each made a connection for Zeir Anpin and Malchut. When they become as one, the name YHVH connect with ADNY and the complete unification creates YHNVDHAY, יאהדונהי.
The angel created in this process channel the light of Chokmah and Chessed together.
