Pinchas 685-687
On the days of new moon, the High Priest offers sacrifices to purify Malchut and reconnect her to the Light, Zeir Anpin. He gives a little share to the other side, keeping them away from this monthly renewal connection.
The Zohar says that a woman that cleanses her self for unification with her husband attracts the other side that wishes to draw from her vessel. To keep them away from her unification with the husband she needs to give them some offerings. The Zohar suggests that after the woman is cleansed and ready, she brushes her hair and does her nails. She takes the hair that was detached from her head, wraps it around the nails like a little bundle and conceals it in cracks outside the house where people don’t pass by.
The moon is the aspect of Malchut and reveals the light coming to her from Zeir Anpin. It comes from six directions South for Chessed, North for Gevurah, East for Tiferet, Up for Netzach, down for Hod and West for Yessod.
The middle point of Malchut connects to Chokmah and its surrounding line is Keter.
