Daily Zohar – Tikunim – #161 – No kidding around
Tikkun #14
Exodus 23:19 “The first of the first fruits of your soil you must bring to the house of YHVH, your God, You must not cook a young goat (kid) in its mother’s milk.”
The Zohar discusses this verse and the explanation is that every process includes the 10 Sefirot and the first three – Keter Chokmah and Binah are pure light that comes and without Chassadim it attracts the negative side. When this light joins with Chessed then it can be handled in this world in balance.
Therefore first of the first of every product in this world should be given to the Kohen in the Holy Temple.
The other part of the verse seems like it is not connected but it follows the same principal. The nursing period connects the young goat to the upper three Sefirot that bring growth and life to him.
The following rule is not practiced but if the animal was slaughtered and unborn was found inside her then it could be eaten together with the mother’s meat (no slaughtering needed). The unborn is still part of the mother’s energy and it is considered as one with it.
The teaching from this article is that when we begin to see the fruits of our actions, we should not use them immediately. In business application it would be better to donate some of the profits to charity that create and support continuation in the world like children’s health and education and spiritual entities that spread the light. The rest of the profits should be reinvested in the business to inject more of the energy of life in it.
This is not a financial advice but if you win the lottery, give some to charities and save in the bank without touching it as long as you can. The later you start using this winning money, the better the manifestation energy in it.
