43. אָמַר לוֹ, דַּרְכֵי רִבּוֹנְךָ וּגְזֵרוֹת רִבּוֹנְךָ מַה לְּךָ לִטְרֹחַ בָּהֶם? מַה שֶּׁיֵּשׁ לְךָ רְשׁוּת לָדַעַת וּלְהִסְתַּכֵּל – שְׁאַל, וּמַה שֶּׁאֵין לְךָ רְשׁוּת לָדַעַת – כָּתוּב (שם ה) אַל תִּתֵּן אֶת פִּיךָ לַחֲטִיא אֶת בְּשָׂרֶךָ, שֶׁדַּרְכֵי הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא וּסְתָרָיו גְּנוּזִים עֶלְיוֹנִים, שֶׁהוּא נִסְתָּר וְגָנוּז אֵין לָנוּ לִשְׁאֹל. אָמַר לוֹ, אִם כָּךְ, הֲרֵי הַתּוֹרָה כֻּלָּהּ נִסְתֶּרֶת וּגְנוּזָה, שֶׁהֲרֵי הִיא שֵׁם קָדוֹשׁ עֶלְיוֹן, וּמִי שֶׁמִּתְעַסֵּק בַּתּוֹרָה כְּאִלּוּ הִתְעַסֵּק בִּשְׁמוֹ הַקָּדוֹשׁ, וְאִם כָּךְ אֵין לָנוּ לִשְׁאֹל וּלְהִסְתַּכֵּל.
44. אָמַר לוֹ, כָּל הַתּוֹרָה נִסְתֶּרֶת וּגְלוּיָה, וּשְׁמוֹ הַקָּדוֹשׁ נִסְתָּר וְגָלוּי, וְכָתוּב (דברים כט) הַנִּסְתָּרֹת לַה’ אֱלֹהֵינוּ וְהַנִּגְלֹת לָנוּ וּלְבָנֵינוּ. הַנִּגְלֹת לָנוּ, שֶׁיֵּשׁ לָנוּ רְשׁוּת לִשְׁאֹל וּלְעַיֵּן וּלְהִסְתַּכֵּל בָּהֶם וְלָדַעַת בָּהֶם. אֲבָל הַנִּסְתָּרֹת לַה’ אֱלֹהֵינוּ, שֶׁלּוֹ הֵם, וְלוֹ נִרְאִים, שֶׁמִּי יָכוֹל לָדַעַת וּלְהִתְדַּבֵּק בְּדַעְתּוֹ הַנִּסְתֶּרֶת, וְכָל שֶׁכֵּן לִשְׁאֹל?
45. בֹּא וּרְאֵה, אֵין רְשׁוּת לִבְנֵי הָעוֹלָם לוֹמַר דְּבָרִים נִסְתָּרִים וּלְפָרְשָׁם, פְּרָט לַמְּנוֹרָה הַקְּדוֹשָׁה רַבִּי שִׁמְעוֹן, שֶׁהֲרֵי הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא הִסְכִּים עַל יָדוֹ. וּמִשּׁוּם שֶׁדּוֹרוֹ רָשׁוּם לְמַעְלָה וּלְמַטָּה, וְעַל זֶה דְּבָרִים נֶאֱמָרִים בְּגָלוּי עַל יָדוֹ, וְלֹא יִהְיֶה דוֹר כְּדוֹר שֶׁהוּא שָׁרוּי בְּתוֹכוֹ, עַד שֶׁיָּבֹא מֶלֶךְ הַמָּשִׁיחַ.

Deuteronomy 29:28
“הַנִּסְתָּרֹת–לַיהוָה, אֱלֹהֵינוּ; וְהַנִּגְלֹת לָנוּ וּלְבָנֵינוּ, עַד-עוֹלָם–לַעֲשׂוֹת, אֶת-כָּל-דִּבְרֵי הַתּוֹרָה הַזֹּאת.”
“The secret things belong to YHVH our God, but the things that are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.”
The Zohar brings here a difficult question. First, it tells us that we are not allowed to say the Holy name of God. Then the Zohar say that the entire Torah is the Holy name of God. Therefore, we should not look or read the Torah because that would be dealing with the name of God that is forbidden for us.

The Zohar resolves the problem for us and tells us the Torah is both concealed and revealed as the name of God. The concealed is the aspects of God that we cannot see or reveal. The revealed aspect is for us to study. Now the Zohar asks about what are we doing with the concealed aspects we cannot grasp in our minds and cannot even have the ability to ask because it is so concealed.

Here the Zohar reveals that no one has the ability to reveal the secrets of the Torah but Rabbi Shimon. The Holy One bless be He allowed the secrets to be revealed by him. His generation had the merit for it and there will be no generation like it until the generation when the Mashiach will be revealed.

Lesson: we have the merit because the kabbalists of earlier generations paved the way with their wonderful teachings and writings. With the advancement of the internet technologies, we can have the Zohar spread with the speed of Light to all corners of the world. Rabbi Shimon, with permission from God, took the ‘concealed’ and brought it into the ‘revealed’ for us to study and connect. Every day the Daily Zohar sends the same Zohar and study to thousands of subscribers all over the world and in every time zone.
We spread the ‘concealed’ part of the name of God to everyone and the world becomes ‘Lighter’.
