Zohar Terumah
Continued from previous DZ
The Apiryon described in this part of the Zohar is the aspect of Malchut and the world.
The trees of Lebanon are the aspect of the six days of Creation. Every Day of Creation established a proper order and vessel in the Apiryon.
The first order came from the right of Binah and the concealed light. It formed the vessel of Chessed of the Apiryon in the secret of “Let there be Light”.
Genesis 1:3
“And God said: ‘Let there be light.’ And there was light.”
The Zohar asks why it says “and there was light” when it could be simple as “and it was so”. The explanation of the Zohar is that the verse reveals that the first light brought out another light that was fit for the first day.
The second order that came from the left of Binah separated the waters, which is Chessed. It was done by a strong fire that is the aspect of the Left.
That separation of waters created the vessel of Gevurah in the Apiryon. This secret is revealed from the verse of Genesis 1:7
“God made the expanse, and separated the waters which were below the expanse from the waters which were above the expanse; and it was so.”
This was the second day of Creation.
