Daily Zohar # 2069 – Pekudei – Two Tabernacles
.

Zohar Pekudei
Continued from previous DZ
The name of the portion, Pekudei, פקודי, means ‘counting’. The Zohar explains that blessings don’t hold where there is counting. The Tabernacle is mentioned here with the aspect of counting and the blessing came only after they finished the work and Moses blessed them.
Exodus 39:43
“And Moses examined all the work and behold, they had done it; just as YHVH had commanded, this they had done. So Moses blessed them.”
The Tabernacle is a physical construction in the world of Malchut and therefore represents the left column. Moses is the aspect of the Central column, and with his blessing he connected the Tabernacle to Binah Holiness of the Light. Moses served in the Tabernacle as priest before God asked him to transfer the priesthood to his brother Aaron.
Exodus 38:21
“This is the number of the things for the tabernacle, the tabernacle of the testimony, as they were numbered according to the command of Moses, for the service of the Levites, by the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.”
‘The Tabernacle’ is the aspect of the physical Tabernacle in Malchut and the ‘the tabernacle of the testimony’ is the aspect of Chokmah and Binah. The verse reveals that Moses established a connection of upper and lower by his commands/words.
Lesson: In the world of Malchut counting is considered limitation and therefore can not bring blessing from the infinite Light until we connect our actions with Light that comes through spiritual connection. At the same time, it is important to do the physical work properly. The Tabernacle was constructed with materials and measurements that enabled it to be a vessel for the endless Light.
Some people open a business and expect that with Ana B’Koach and some Zohar scanning they’ll open magic channels of success. This is idol worshiping.
We need to put the proper efforts to calculate our actions in the material world, and when that vessel was made ready with the right consciousness, we make spiritual connections and invite the Light in.
