“Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.”
This verse comes from the Proverbs 31 that we sing on Friday nights before the Kiddush that sanctify the unification of Malchut, Zeir Anpin and Binah. The name of the song is “אשת חיל” “Woman of Valor”. The woman is the aspect of Malchut, the vessel, that is elevated to Binah to receive the Light of Chokmah. Chokmah means wisdom, and it’s the Sefira on the Right and above Chessed.
South is the aspect of Chessed and the sages taught us that those who wish to have wisdom should turn to the south. Some translate it to ‘move to the south’. Obviously the sages didn’t suggest you call the movers and move south but the meaning it turn to the aspect of the Right column and Chessed, which is south. Those who act with Chessed, which is unconditional kindness and sharing can connect to Chokmah/Wisdom that is located in the upper three Sefirot, above the Chessed, which on the right side of the Tree of Life.
If we act with Chessed we open channel with easy access to Chokmah. Our ‘head’ of Chessed can reach Chokmah that is just above it.
The word ‘חכמה’, ‘Chokmah’, reveals its power to bring Light to Zeir Anpin with Chessed at its ‘head’. The first two letters חכ is כח, meaning force. The last two letters ‘מה’, numerically 45 represent the name of Zeir Anpin.
The force comes from Chokmah and Bnah ‘pushes’ it down to Zeir Anpin, giving it life to sustain Malchut.
