Daily Zohar # 2144 – Bamidbar – Make a deposit before you go to sleep
.

Zohar Bamidbar
Psalms 31:6
“Into Your hand I commit my soul; You have ransomed me, O YHVH, God of truth.”
This verse is the last thing we say before going to sleep. With it we deposit our souls in the ‘hand’ of YHVH, asking for redemption. We use the name of God, ‘אל’ that represents Chessed and right column. With the word ‘truth’ we connect to the central column that will take our souls to the highest level.
The other side, and the aspect of death, controls the night and when we sleep we experience the aspect of death because sleeping is one of 60 parts of death.
When we ‘deposit’ our souls into the hand of the Creator before sleeping we connect to the source of Life that protects it.
