Daily Zohar # 2269 – Noah – Digging Light for the future
“עָשָׂה יְהוָה אֲשֶׁר זָמָם, בִּצַּע אֶמְרָתוֹ אֲשֶׁר צִוָּה מִימֵי-קֶדֶם–הָרַס, וְלֹא חָמָל; וַיְשַׂמַּח עָלַיִךְ אוֹיֵב, הֵרִים קֶרֶן צָרָיִךְ”
“The LORD has done what He purposed; He has accomplished His word Which He commanded from days of old. He has thrown down without sparring, And He has caused the enemy to rejoice over you; He has exalted the might of your adversaries.”
The Zohar reveals here that when the people left the righteous path and corrupted the environment with their negativity, God had to remove the great Light that was made for the Holy Temple. The energy of the destruction went to the enemies of the Israelites that were waiting for them to fall.
After the destruction of the second Holy Temple only tenth part of that Light stayed in the world. During the period of almost 2000 years since the destruction of the Temple the world went into greater darkness. God with his infinite love for us concealed the Israelites souls among the other nations of the world to protect their existence, making them channels of Light to the world until the coming of Mashiach.
Now it’s the time for us to come back to the Light and with pure consciousness and actions merit a ticket to the Final Redemption. We are lucky to have the Zohar in our generation and ‘dig’ the Light of the Torah from the studies that Rabbi Shimon teaches us.
