Hebrew translation:

46. הַחַטָּאת הִיא יוֹתֶרֶת הַכָּבֵד, מַכְבִּידָה עָלֶיה בַּחַטָּאוֹת שֶׁל לִכְלוּכִים שֶׁל חֲטָאֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל, כְּמוֹ שֶׁהַכָּבֵד מַכְבִּיד עַל הַשְּׁמָרִים, שֶׁהֵם דָּמִים, עַל הָעֳרָקִים שֶׁל הַלֵּב. כָּךְ הַחַטָּאוֹת הַלָּלוּ מַכְבִּידוֹת עַל כַּנְפֵי הַשְּׁכִינָה, שֶׁהֵן מִצְווֹת עֲשֵׂה, שֶׁדּוֹמוֹת לְכַנְפֵי יוֹנָה. וְלֹא תַעֲשֶׂה, כְּשֶׁהֵן מַכְבִּידוֹת עַל עֲשֵׂה, שֶׁהֵן כְּשֶׁחֲטָאֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל מְרֻבִּים מִן הַזְּכֻיּוֹת, נֶאֱמַר בַּתּוֹרָה שֶׁהִיא גּוּף, (דניאל ח) וְתַשְׁלֵךְ אֱמֶת אַרְצָה, וְהִיא צוֹוַחַת, (איכה א) נְתָנַנִי ה’ בִּידֵי לֹא אוּכַל קוּם, (עמוס ה) נָפְלָה לֹא תוֹסִיף קוּם.
47. וּמִשּׁוּם זֶה תִּקְּנוּ תַּנָּאִים וְאָמוֹרָאִים תְּפִלּוֹת בִּמְקוֹם קָרְבָּנוֹת, לְהַעֲבִיר מִמֶּנָּה חַטָּאוֹת וַאֲשָׁמוֹת, וּמִשּׁוּם כָּךְ תִּקְּנוּ תְּפִלַּת שַׁחֲרִית כְּמוֹ קָרְבַּן הַשַּׁחַר, וּתְפִלַּת מִנְחָה כְּמוֹ קָרְבַּן בֵּין הָעַרְבַּיִם, וּתְפִלַּת עַרְבִית כְּמוֹ אֵמוּרִים וּפְדָרִים שֶׁהָיוּ מִתְאַכְּלִים כָּל הַלַּיְלָה. וּשְׁלֹשֶׁת הָאָבוֹת שֶׁתִּקְּנוּ שָׁלֹשׁ תְּפִלּוֹת, כְּנֶגֶד הַמֶּרְכָּבָה שֶׁהֵם קְשׁוּרִים בָּהּ, כְּמוֹ שֶׁבֵּאֲרוּהָ, הָאָבוֹת הֵן הֵן הַמֶּרְכָּבָה, שֶׁהֵם פְּנֵי אַרְיֵה אֶל הַיָּמִין לְאַרְבַּעְתָּם. Nowadays we do not have the Holy Temple to support our cleansing and we have other options to help us cleanse our soul and environment.
After the destruction of the Holy Temple, the Greater Assembly and the prophets (כנסת הגדולה והנביאים) prepared the order of prayers for us. The sage teach us that the prayers were made in the aspect of the Patriarchs and the aspect of sacrifices (Korbanot קרבנות).
The Patriarchs established for us connection to the three columns;
Abraham – Right – Chessed – Morning prayer – Morning offerings
Isaac – Left – Gevurah – Afternoon prayer – Afternoon oferrings
Jacob – Center – Tiferet – Evening prayer (Optional but important for us because of the Shema Prayer that we do after sundown)
Psalms 55:17,18
“אֲנִי, אֶל-אֱלֹהִים אֶקְרָא; וַיהוָה, יוֹשִׁיעֵנִי.”
“רֶב וָבֹקֶר וְצָהֳרַיִם, אָשִׂיחָה וְאֶהֱמֶה; וַיִּשְׁמַע קוֹלִי.”
“As for me, I shall call upon God, And YHVH will save me.”
“Evening and morning and noon, I will converse and murmur, And He will hear my voice.”
