Zohar Tzav
#89
Psalms 145:17
“צַדִּיק יְהוָה בְּכָל דְּרָכָיו וְחָסִיד בְּכָל מַעֲשָׂיו.”
“YHVH is righteous in all His ways, Gracious (Acts with Chessed) in all His works.”
Rabbi Chizkiyah says that the world was created in judgment and governed with judgment. We should stay on the path of YHVH to connect to his Chassadim.
#90
A person should watch his actions because he cannot tell when the measure of judgment would come upon him. He may go out of his home with judgment on his head and can’t tell if he will return home or die and not come back.
When a person asks for protection and mercy from God before leaving home, he will be saved from judgments. As it is written;
Psalms 85:14
“צֶדֶק לְפָנָיו יְהַלֵּךְ וְיָשֵׂם לְדֶרֶךְ פְּעָמָיו.”
“Righteousness will go before Him, and prepare his footsteps for him.”
We must have protection from YHVH because judgment is found in the world every day.
Psalms 7:12
“אֱלֹהִים שׁוֹפֵט צַדִּיק וְאֵל זֹעֵם בְּכָל יוֹם.”
“God is a just judge, And God (אֵל) is angry every day.”
#91
We know that anytime we see the name אֵל ‘God’ it represents the name of Chessed as we read in Deuteronomy 10:17 “הָאֵל הַגָּדֹל”, “Great God”. This name reveals the Light from Chokmah and it doesn’t match when the verse above says “angry every day”. The question is if to see this name as Judgment or Mercy.
Lesson;
The world was created with the name אֱלֹהִים ELHYM that has the aspect of Left and judgment. The world must act according to rules of cause and effect and that is the aspect of the judgment that exists every day.
The English translation for אל is usually ‘God’ and it is used also to translate the name אֱלֹהִים. We cannot rely on translations to reveal the secrets behind the Bible words and especially when it comes to the revelation of the Holy Names.
I strongly suggest that everyone who wishes to study and connect better to the Light to learn the Hebrew letters.
