Zohar Behaalotcha
Continued from previous DZ
#86
The world is under the governance of the Tree of Knowledge Good and Bad. It comes with laws of “you shall do (Good)” and “you shall not do (Bad)”. The secrets of the Torah laws that would be revealed by Moses, the Faithful Shepherd, would sweeten the ‘bitter’ aspect of the exile.
The hardship would go away like a dream that would come and disappear. Like the way ‘מלח’,’Salt’ ‘sweeten’ the meat, the revelation of the secrets of Torah would sweeten the negative aspects that we see in life.
The word for dream ‘חלם’ is the same as salt ‘מלח’ in reverse.

#87
The Erev Rav that are wicked, will go through sufferings like Sodom Salt (from the Dead Sea) that makes the eyes go blind as it says in Job 11:20
“But the eyes of the wicked will be blinded. They shall have no way to flee. Their hope shall be the giving up of the spirit.”

When the time comes everyone will go through different tests. Those who follow the Torah will understand the process that would help them become pure and ready for the world to come.
Daniel 12:10
“Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand.”

The prophet Zechariah prophesied that two-thirds of the world would perish and the last third would be tested for their faith in YHVH.
Zecharia 13:8,9
“And it shall come to pass in all the land,” says YHVH, “That two-thirds in it shall be cut off and die, But one-third shall be left in it:”
“I will bring the one-third through the fire, Will refine them as silver is refined, And test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, And I will answer them. I will say, ‘This is My people’; And each one will say, YHVH is my God.’ ”

Lesson;
Two-third would perish may not mean immediate or horrible death. We can understand this prophecy also mean that two thirds will have no merits to be Final Redemption.
The end of time prophecies are hard to digest but to make it easy on ourselves, we should never lose faith because it will disconnect us from the ‘Third’. Keeping with the studies of the Torah and the Zohar connect us to the continuous flow of Light and earn us the merits to experience immortality at the time of the King Mashiach.
We hope to see Mashiach in our lifetime and if not, we continue to earn merits to be resurrected. At that time we will feel like waking up from a dream.
