Zohar Balak

#248
All prophets deliver their prophecies using the words “כֹּה אָמַר יהוה” “Thus said YHVH”. Their visions came from a ‘mirror’, which is a ‘reflection’ from the upper levels as seen in Malchut. These reflections/visions represented by the word ‘כה’, that means ‘So’ or ‘Thus’. It’s the Light that appears in Malchut.
Moses was different because he had a direct connection to YHVH. He saw the messages directly from a mirror of Light.
The prophets receive the messages from YHVH as visions in Malchut like from a mirror that is dark on one side. Moses could see the words of God as they are formed in the level of Zeir Anpin like seeing through a clear mirror that lets visions behind the glass come through.

#249
Numbers 22:6
“וְעַתָּה לְכָה נָּא אָרָה לִּי אֶת הָעָם הַזֶּה כִּי עָצוּם הוּא מִמֶּנִּי אוּלַי אוּכַל נַכֶּה בּוֹ וַאֲגָרְשֶׁנּוּ מִן הָאָרֶץ כִּי יָדַעְתִּי אֵת אֲשֶׁר תְּבָרֵךְ מְבֹרָךְ וַאֲשֶׁר תָּאֹר יוּאָר.”
“Therefore please come at once, curse these people for me, for they are too mighty for me. Perhaps I shall be able to defeat them and drive them out of the land, for I know that he whom you bless is blessed, and he whom you curse is cursed.”
Balak was evil but with spiritual powers from the other-side. He saw in a vision that because of him thousands of Israelites will perish. It was an incomplete vision but he believed that it is a good time for him to attack the Israelites.

#250
The word ‘לכה’,’please come’ is also ‘to ‘ ‘כה’. Balak believes that he can go to war against ‘כה’ that is the light force in Malchut, and win over it. He called Balaam to curse the Israelites and disconnect them from ‘כה’.

Lesson;
There are many levels of visions. It is easy to get them, especially when they come from the other-side that represents lies, deceit, and illusion. These visions are incomplete and misleading like the vision of Balak.
From Talmud Bavli, Chagigah 14b
Rabbi Akiva said to them: When, upon your arrival in the upper worlds, you reach pure marble stones, do not say: Water, water, although they appear to be water because it is stated: “He who speaks falsehood shall not be established before My eyes” (Psalms 101:7).
Rabbi Akiva tells the rabbis that are about to ascend to higher spiritual levels to be careful with what they see. They may not be able to see the truth because their minds are strongly influenced by what they see in the world of Malchut.

We should NEVER seek advice or follow future/fortune tellers even if they can tell some truth. It doesn’t matter what kind of ‘tool’ they use as a ‘mirror’. Together with some truth, they may deliver advice that leads to chaos and darkness. We do not want to use ‘dirty mirrors’.
The Zohar is the shining and clear mirror that shares with us the truth beyond this world.
