Zohar Naso
#133
The Nazirite should “Let the locks of the hair of his head grow” (Numbers 6:5) because his hair draws Chassadim from above without judgment since it is all Right. Rabbi Yehuda bar Rav said that the hair can tell about the holiness of the person as it is written about the Holy One Blessed be He; Songs 5:11 “רֹאשׁוֹ כֶּתֶם פָּז קְוֻצּוֹתָיו תַּלְתַּלִּים שְׁחֹרוֹת כָּעוֹרֵב.”
“His head is like the finest gold; His locks are wavy And black as a raven.”

Rabbi Shimon says that if people knew the secrets that the hair can tell, and the relation to the secret of secrets above, they would be known to their master with their supernal wisdom.

Numbers 6:23
“Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the way you shall bless the children of Israel. Say to them:”
Psalms 103:17
“But the mercy (Chessed) of YHVH is from everlasting to everlasting On those who fear Him, And His righteousness to children’s children,”
Rabbi Yitzchak says that the blessings of the priests bestow Chassadim on the people. The awe and fear of the Holy One Blessed be He is a great virtue. It brings humbleness, and humbleness leads to righteous actions. Those who fear sinning have all these qualities. Those who don’t have fear of the heavens have neither humbleness nor righteous actions.
