Hebrew translation:
.
Zohar Vayishlach
Continued from previous DZ
Genesis 32:25
“וַיִּוָּתֵר יַעֲקֹב לְבַדּוֹ וַיֵּאָבֵק אִישׁ עִמּוֹ עַד עֲלוֹת הַשָּׁחַר.”
“Then Jacob was left alone, and a Man wrestled with him until the breaking of the day.”
#104
The Holy One Blessed be He saw everything and it implies in the words “and a Man wrestled with him” (Genesis 32:25). It means that there is a weakness in one day of the year, and one body part.
The thigh tendon (גיד הנשה) is the only place that the other side could hold Jacob. From the aspect of the year, the ninth of Av is the only day that the power of Sam-l, who is the minister of the other side, gets stronger. On this day Israel experienced harsh judgments and the Holy Temple was destroyed.
Whoever eats on the ninth of Av, is considered as if he ate from the thigh tendon (גיד הנשה).
Jacob fought the minister of Esau all night. Rabbi Chiya said that if Jacob’s thigh didn’t get weaker, he could have broken the power of Esau on the upper and lower levels.
Lesson;
Jacob wrestles with the angel that represents the other side. It was an all-night fight. We should remember that the control of the other side is stronger during the night. We should not walk alone, especially in dark areas, streets, etc. It is okay to walk alone in a busy street in a busy city because there is no aspect of ‘alone’ that may attract the other side.
It is also bad to sleep alone in an empty building. It’s okay in an apartment building or in a single-unit house when there are very near houses in the same neighborhood. If you are alone, I suggest playing Zohar from ZoharVoice.com or Zohar Voice app (free) continuously during the night, anywhere in the home. Not necessarily in the bedroom. The vibrations of the Zohar reading produce positive energy in the home.
