Holy Zohar text. Daily Zohar -637

“And God said: ‘Let the waters swarm with swarms of living creatures, and let fowl fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven”

The word for God is אֱלֹהִי”ם and can be read as two words, אֵ”ל הַיָּ”ם that means “God of the sea”.
The sea is reference to the Torah and those who deal with it are blessed with the Chassadim of water and inherit soul from the aspect of the Shechina.
The ‘fowl fly’ is the aspect of the soul at the level of Ruach.

Isaiah 55:1
“Ho, every one that is thirsty, come for the water…”

Our soul gets thirsty for the light and the prophet Isaiah suggests us to come for the water, which is the light of the Torah. The Zohar is the tool that we use to draw the water, that is light from the well, which is the Torah.

Most people come to spirituality, Kabbalah and the Zohar when they feel some kind of lack. The rich and fulfilled people live behind their ‘safe’ walls, worry about nothing until they lose something. Then they realize how vulnerable they are and seek super power of protection or support to achieve their ‘earthly’ desires.
Take your soul to the water to quench its thirst before things can change in the ‘material’ level.
