Zohar Tazria
Continued from previous DZ
#118
We learned that from ‘בוצינא דקרדינותא’ “אור החושך” literally means “light of darkness”, came out 325 sparks that are called Gevurot. They hold and connect as one to the side of Gevurah. When they enters the body, meaning Zeir Anpin, he is called אִישׁ (Ish). We learned that there is אִישׁ as in “איש תם וישר” (Job 1:8) that refers to a perfect man, who follows the Light, a righteous man, Tzadik.
We also learned that YHVH “אִישׁ מִלְחָמָה” “man (Ish) of war” means that אִישׁ, Ish, consists of judgments (Gevurot), but all means the same.
It was difficult for them to explain the issue so they went to Rabbi Shimon. He told them that they can make it more difficult to understand when we read;
Genesis 2:23
“וַיֹּאמֶר הָאָדָם זֹאת הַפַּעַם עֶצֶם מֵעֲצָמַי וּבָשָׂר מִבְּשָׂרִי לְזֹאת יִקָּרֵא אִשָּׁה כִּי מֵאִישׁ לֻקֳחָה זֹּאת.”
“And Adam said: “This is now bone of my bones And flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman because she was taken out of Man (אִישׁ, Ish) .”
He continued, telling them that אִישׁ, Ish, is Chessed, and hear they say that אִישׁ, Ish is judgment.
Rabbi Ashlag explains; during the Creation of the levels of Zeir Anpin, there was a process known as the beaking of the vessels. The secret comes from the Torah (Genesis 36:31), about seven Edomite Kings. During the breaking of the vessels, 320 sparks were elevated to Binah, because the breaks were caused by the level of Malchut from the side of judgments. These sparks of Zeir Anpin needed a correction to sweeten the judgments and make them ready to receive the Light of Binah that has the aspect of Mercy. From the five sefirot of Chessed, Gevurah, Tiferet, Netzach, and Hod of Binah they receive five sparks so later, they could receive the Light of Binah into the vessels of Zeir Anpin.
The state of smallness state (Katnut, קטנות) of Zeir Anpin is called אִישׁ, Ish, because when the Light of Binah enters Zeir Anpin, they have the aspect of the body without the head, that is the upper Sefirot.

#119
We learned that אִישׁ, Ish, is also Chessed and judgment at the same time. When the lower judgments connect and unified with the hair of אִישׁ, Ish, he is in a state called harsh judgment. And when the hairs of his head are gone from him, he receives Chassadim and the judgments from the lower levels don’t come to him. Therefore he is called pure, for there is no pure except when it comes out of the side of impurity, as it is written;
Job 14:4
“מִי יִתֵּן טָהוֹר מִטָּמֵא לֹא אֶחָד.”
“Who could bring a clean thing out of an unclean? No one!”
Leviticus 13:40
“וְאִישׁ כִּי יִמָּרֵט רֹאשׁוֹ קֵרֵחַ הוּא טָהוֹר הוּא.”
“Now if a man loses the hair of his head, he is bald; he is clean.”

Lesson;
We learned from paragraph #118 that Gevurot come from the higher level of Keter of the world of Atzilut (Emanation). “‘בוצינא דקרדינותא”, the light of darkness defined the borders of Malchut on all sefirot levels. Then the Zohar tells us that the hair at the top of the head (Keter) is Gevurot and represents judgments. When it is removed, the harsh judgment is removed with it.

This Shabbat is Rosh Chodesh Nisan, the sign of Aries, that leads the 12 constellations. As the first Shabbat of the year, it would be good to enter it with the act of Tzedakah.
