#120
On the head of איש, Ish, בוצינא דקרדינותא, “candle of darkness,” a hard spark, and because of that, his skull is red as a rose, and the hair is red inside the redness of the skull. The lower sefirot that awaken judgments in the world depends on the hair coming out of the skull. When the hair is removed and the head becomes bald, the Light of Chassadim spreads into the Left to sweeten the judgments, and איש Ish is purified and called ‘pure.’

#121
Rabbi Yehuda says that איש Ish should be called ‘Holy’ and not ‘pure.’ He told him that ‘Holy’ depends on the hair of the head, as it is written;
Numbers 6:5
“כָּל יְמֵי נֶדֶר נִזְרוֹ תַּעַר לֹא יַעֲבֹר עַל רֹאשׁוֹ עַד מְלֹאת הַיָּמִם אֲשֶׁר יַזִּיר לַיהוָה קָדֹשׁ יִהְיֶה גַּדֵּל פֶּרַע שְׂעַר רֹאשׁוֹ.”
“‘All the days of the vow of his separation, no razor shall come upon his head; until the days are fulfilled for which he separated himself to YHVH, he shall be holy. Then he shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow.”
Ish is called pure only when the impure forces of judgment were removed with his head hair, and that was the reason for his purity.

#122
Whoever from the side of judgment and judgments attached to him is not pure until his hair is removed.
When it comes to אדם Adam, he doesn’t have to remove his hair because he is complete with the aspect of Mercy that is part of his name. It comes from the YHVH name יוד-הא-ואו-הא both have the numerical value of 45. Growing hair for him increases his beauty because his hair connects to the holiness of the supernal father and mother.

Lesson;
man – Adam אדם is the aspect of Zeir Anpin that connects to the upper three sefirot, a state that is called גדלות, ‘greatness.’
Man – Ish – איש – is the aspect of Zeir Anpin without connection to the upper three sefirot, a state that is called קטנות, “smallness.”
The roots of the hair are from the highest levels. In the case of Ish איש, it is from the judgments that come from בוצינא דקרדינותא “the candle of darkness,” and therefore requires removal of the hair at the top of the skull to remove the connection to judgments. Since Adam אדם connects to the holy levels of the supernal Father and Mother, the hair would only add to his holiness, ‘beauty.’
