Zohar Emor
Continued from previous DZ
#169
While his friends were gathering with him on the night of Shavuot, Rabbi Shimon said, let us prepare the jewelry for the bride, that is drawing the Mochin to Malchut so she would be found tomorrow in her jewelry, that is with the Mochin as properly ready to unify with the King. Blessed are the friends when the King asks the queen, who prepared her jewelry, and illuminated her crowns. There is no one in the world who knows how to prepare the bride but the friends, blessed is their portion in this world and in the world to come.
#170
The friends prepare the jewelry for the bride, the queen, and adorn her with crowns to meet the King. The deepest of all rivers is the holy river, which is Binah prepares Zeir Anpin during the night to find the bride, Malchut, and mate with her as it is written;
Songs 3:11
“צְאֶינָה וּרְאֶינָה בְּנוֹת צִיּוֹן בַּמֶּלֶךְ שְׁלֹמֹה בָּעֲטָרָה שֶׁעִטְּרָה לּוֹ אִמּוֹ בְּיוֹם חֲתֻנָּתוֹ וּבְיוֹם שִׂמְחַת לִבּוֹ.”
“Go forth, O daughters of Zion, And see King Solomon with the crown With which his mother crowned him On the day of his wedding, The day of the gladness of his heart.”
After Binah prepares the King to be with the Bride, she purifies the bride and the friends that help with her preparation.
Lesson;
The bride is the Queen, Malchut, and the groom is the King, Zeir Anpin. On Shavuot night we read from all parts of the Torah and Bible to prepare the vessel of the bride, which represents us in the world of Malchut. When we connect to all parts of the sacred text, the King, Zeir Anpin is ready to connect with us. When the day breaks and the Light of Chassadim appears in the world, the unification between the Light and the vessel is made. We receive the light of the Torah in its completion. The Zohar and the Holy Ari say we should stay awake all night (Sleeping is an aspect of death and it causes a disconnection on the night that is all about revealing Light). We read from all parts of the Torah and Bible to bring out the jewels from the sacred text. Then we become part of the unification that would be in the morning. The other action that we need to do is to be cleansed spiritually and we do that by immersing in a Mikveh. Before a bride does the wedding, she needs to go to a Mikveh before the ceremony that unifies her with her groom and make them as one, husband and wife.
Following the above would elevate us to a holy state and draw life and the aspect of immortality into our lives. The Holy Ari says that if we follow the above, we would experience no harm through the coming year.
