And therefore, he is the “end of the left.” It was explained that there is “end of the right” and there is “end to the left.” The end of the Left is the “end of Flesh,” and this is the end of the left; it is the end of all flesh (קץ כל בשר). He is called the “end of all flesh” and not the “end of all spirit”. The secret of the matter is that there are two ends, the end over flesh, which is the one in charge of the body, and the end over spirit, which is in charge of people’s souls. For this reason, one is internal, which is the end of spirit, and the other is external, which is the end of the flesh. The inner one is holy, and the outer one is impure.

On the right side, the south, is the supreme holy secret of faith, the secret of the male world, Zeir Anpin, and the female world, which is the Nukva of Zeir Anpin. And from it come out all the secrets of the holy of holies and all the secrets of the faith. Also, life, freedom, goodness, and lights are from this level. And all the blessings, charity, and love of love come from the right side, the secret of the south.
