133. וְיוֹסֵף שֶׁהָיָה יוֹדֵעַ תּוֹרָה, וְאֶחָיו נָפְלוּ בְיָדוֹ, לָמָּה גִלְגֵּל עֲלֵיהֶם כָּל הַגִּלְגּוּל הַזֶּה, וַהֲרֵי הוּא יָדַע אֶת הַתּוֹרָה שֶׁלִּמֵּד אוֹתוֹ אָבִיו? אֶלָּא חַס וְשָׁלוֹם שֶׁיּוֹסֵף גִּלְגֵּל עֲלֵיהֶם גִּלְגּוּלִים לִנְקֹם מֵהֶם, אֶלָּא כָּל זֶה לֹא עָשָׂה אֶלָּא לְהָבִיא אֶת אָחִיו בִּנְיָמִין אֶצְלוֹ, שֶׁתְּשׁוּקָתוֹ הָיְתָה אֵלָיו, וְהוּא לֹא הִשְׁאִיר אֶת אֶחָיו לִפֹּל, שֶׁהֲרֵי כָּתוּב וַיְצַו יוֹסֵף וַיְמַלְּאוּ אֶת כְּלֵיהֶם בָּר וְגוֹ’, וְכָל זֶה כְּדֵי שֶׁלֹּא יִפְּלוּ.
134. רַבִּי יְהוּדָה אָמַר, כְּשֶׁבָּרָא הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא אֶת הַלְּבָנָה, הָיָה תָמִיד מִסְתַּכֵּל בָּהּ, כַּכָּתוּב (דברים יא) תָּמִיד עֵינֵי ה’ אֱלֹהֶיךָ בָּהּ. הַשְׁגָּחָתוֹ בָהּ תָּמִיד. וְכָתוּב אָז רָאָהּ, שֶׁהֲרֵי הַשֶּׁמֶשׁ בְּהַשְׁגָּחָתוֹ בָהּ מְאִירָה. וַיְסַפְּרָהּ, מַה זֶּה וַיְסַפְּרָהּ? כְּמוֹ שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר (איוב כח) מְקוֹם סַפִּיר אֲבָנֶיהָ.
135. הֱכִינָהּ, שֶׁהִיא יוֹשֶׁבֶת בְּתִקּוּן בִּשְׁנֵים עָשָׂר תְּחוּמִים מְחֻלֶּקֶת לְשִׁבְעִים שָׂרִים, הִתְקִין אוֹתָהּ בְּשִׁבְעָה עַמּוּדִים עֶלְיוֹנִים לְהֵאוֹר וְלָשֶׁבֶת עַל שְׁלֵמוּת. וְגַם חֲקָרָהּ, לְהַשְׁגִּיחַ עָלֶיהָ תָּמִיד, פַּעַם אַחַר פַּעַם, שֶׁאֵין פּוֹסֵק לְעוֹלָמִים.

Joseph knew the Torah where it is written;
Leviticus 19:18
“לֹא תִקֹּם וְלֹא תִטֹּר אֶת בְּנֵי עַמֶּךָ וְאָהַבְתָּ לְרֵעֲךָ כָּמוֹךָ אֲנִי יְהוָה.”
“You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am YHVH.”
He asks why Joseph gave his brothers a hard time when they came to Egypt? and he replies we should not think that Joseph did what he did to them to take revenge on them. But he did all this only because he desired to bring Benjamin, his brother, to him. He supported them as it is written;
Genesis 42:25
“וַיְצַו יוֹסֵף וַיְמַלְאוּ אֶת כְּלֵיהֶם בָּר וּלְהָשִׁיב כַּסְפֵּיהֶם אִישׁ אֶל שַׂקּוֹ וְלָתֵת לָהֶם צֵדָה לַדָּרֶךְ וַיַּעַשׂ לָהֶם כֵּן.”
“Then Joseph gave a command to fill their sacks with grain, to restore every man’s money to his sack, and to give them provisions for the journey. Thus he did for them.”

Job 28:27
“אָז רָאָהּ וַיְסַפְּרָהּ הֱכִינָהּ וְגַם חֲקָרָהּ.”
“Then He saw it and declared it; He prepared it and examined it.”
Rabbi Yehuda explains that when the Holy One Blessed be He saw the moon, that is the Nukva, he would always look at it, as it is written;
Deuteronomy 11:12
“אֶרֶץ אֲשֶׁר יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ דֹּרֵשׁ אֹתָהּ תָּמִיד עֵינֵי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ בָּהּ מֵרֵשִׁית הַשָּׁנָה וְעַד אַחֲרִית שָׁנָה.”
“a land for which YHVH your God cares; the eyes of YHVH your God are always on it, from the beginning of the year to the very end of the year.”
“Then He saw” is the sun, Zeir Anpin, that watches the Nukva and receives Light. Zeir Anpin does not receive the aspect of ‘seeing’ that is the secret of Chokmah only when he is in unification with the Nukva.
“And declared it” “וַיְסַפְּרָהּ” is from the word “Saphire” or “Sefira,” which is a source of Light.

“He prepared it,” meaning the Nukva, in twelve places, divided into seventy ministers to receive the Light of the seven sefirot, Chessed, Gevurah, Tiferet, Netzach, Hod, Yessod, and Malchut of Binah.
“And examined it” means to protect the Nukva continuously forever so the other side won’t take her light.
