Daily Zohar 4253

Rabbi Yehuda quotes Rabbi Yitzchak saying that he found a supernal secret related to the lot. Joshua received his share in the land by a lot as the rest of the tribes.
Numbers 26:56
“According to the lot their inheritance shall be divided between the larger and the smaller.””
Each of the tribes receives a place to settle in the Holy Land according to a lot. The lots were hopping into the hands of the priest when he reached to pick one.
Leviticus 16:10
“But the goat on which the lot has gone up (עָלָה עָלָיו) to be the scapegoat shall be presented alive before YHVH, to make atonement upon it, and to let it go as the scapegoat into the wilderness.”
The lot of the scapegoat came up by itself into the hands of Aaron.

Not only that but whenever the prosecutor is ready and has been given permission, we should put before something to keep him busy dealing with it so that he will leave the children of Israel. On the day of Yom Kippur, the prosecutor is ready to tour the land and pick the sins of the people. It is said;
Job 1:7
“And YHVH said to Satan, “From where do you come?” So Satan answered YHVH and said, “From going to and from on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it.”
The Satan is the telltale, the prosecutor if Israel.
