Rabbi Aba said, all these transgressions and sins are first cling to the goat as it is written, “ וְתַשְׁלִיךְ בִּמְצֻלוֹת יָם כָּל חַטֹּאותָם.” “You will cast all our sins Into the depths of the sea” *(Micah 7:19), and,
Leviticus 16:22 “וְנָשָׂא הַשָּׂעִיר עָלָיו אֶת כָּל עֲו‍ֹנֹתָם אֶל אֶרֶץ גְּזֵרָה וְשִׁלַּח אֶת הַשָּׂעִיר בַּמִּדְבָּר.”
“The goat shall bear on itself all their iniquities to an uninhabited land, and he shall release the goat in the wilderness.”
On this day, the priest is adorned in the upper crowns, and he stands between the uppers and the lowers and makes atonement for him, his house, the priests, and all of Israel.

We learned that when the priest entered with the bull’s blood, he was meditating on the head of the faith, that is, the upper three sefirot, Keter, Chokmah, and Binah, and he sprinkled with his finger, as it is said,
Leviticus 16:15
“וְשָׁחַט אֶת שְׂעִיר הַחַטָּאת אֲשֶׁר לָעָם וְהֵבִיא אֶת דָּמוֹ אֶל מִבֵּית לַפָּרֹכֶת וְעָשָׂה אֶת דָּמוֹ כַּאֲשֶׁר עָשָׂה לְדַם הַפָּר וְהִזָּה אֹתוֹ עַל הַכַּפֹּרֶת וְלִפְנֵי הַכַּפֹּרֶת.”
“Then he shall kill the goat of the sin offering, which is for the people, bring its blood inside the veil, do with that blood as he did with the bull’s blood, and sprinkle it on the mercy seat and before the mercy seat.”
And how did he do it. He dipped the top of his finger in the blood the finger, and he sprinkled the blood as if whipping the finger on the side of the curtain of the holy place; that is, he did not drop the drops on the curtain but on the side of it, and the drops fall on the ground. He meditated and began to count, one, one, and one. “One,” that includes everything, “one and one,” that is Chokmah and Binah that are together with harmony and never separate from each other.
