Daily Zohar # 4284 – Shelach Lecha – Why Sat-n was standing on his right
Daily Zohar 4284

Zohar Shelach Lecha

#233
Two bodies together cannot be at the same time. As long as the one of this world is found, the spirit does not receive another garment of the upper world. When one passes from this world, the other body is immediately ready. Of course, one leaves, and one enters. It is like the way of the good and the evil inclination in this world. The Holy One, Blessed be He, does not want both of them to be in one body, but if the evil inclination dominates, the good side escapes, and if the good side dominates, the evil inclination escapes.
#234
Zechariah 3:1
“Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of YHVH, and Satan standing at his right hand to oppose him.”
He said, “I am puzzled by what is written, “and Satan. stands on his right side…” And if Joshua ben Yehozedek is so, the rest of the world is all the more so. He told him, a holy Chassid, how hidden and concealed these things are. Although the friends know about the things of that upper world, they cannot know about these secrets.
#235
He said to him that since the man is in that world, what good is it for Sat-n to go against him since he already took out his soul and killed him? He said to him, blessed is your lot, holy Chassid. Sat-n desired to stop this tzaddik, Joshua ben Yehozedek, from getting dressed in pure and holy garments. Since Sat-n saw that his clothing was filthy and rejected, he came to stand on his right to stop him. The point is that if Joshua dresses in that particular garment, the filthy garment will immediately be destroyed, the action of the Sat-n will be canceled, and he will be removed from the world.
