Hebrew translation:

240. וְכָל זְמַן שֶׁהַבָּשָׂר שֶׁל צַד הָאַחֵר עוֹמֵד בְּקִיּוּמוֹ, אוֹתוֹ שָׂטָן עוֹמֵד לְהַשְׂטִין. אָבַד הַבָּשָׂר, אֵין לוֹ רְשׁוּת לְהַשְׂטִין, שֶׁהֲרֵי אֵין לוֹ עַל מַה שֶּׁיִּסְמֹךְ. וְעַל זֶה כָּתוּב, (איוב לג) יִכֶל בְּשָׂרוֹ מֵרוֹאִי וְשֻׁפּוּ עַצְמֹתָיו לֹא רֻאוּ. מֵאוֹתוֹ מַרְאֵה שָׂטָן שֶׁעוֹמֵד לְהַשְׂטִין שֶׁלֹּא יָכוֹל, כֵּיוָן שֶׁיִּכֶל בְּשָׂרוֹ. וְשֻׁפּוּ עַצְמֹתָיו לֹא רֻאוּ, לֹא רְאוּיִים לִקְרַב אֵלָיו, שֶׁאֵין לוֹ חֵלֶק בָּהֶם, כֵּיוָן שֶׁזָּז כָּל אֶחָד וְאֶחָד מִמְּקוֹמוֹ, לֹא תוֹבֵעַ עֲלֵיהֶם וְלֹא עוֹמֵד לְהַשְׂטִין בִּגְלָלוֹ. לְאַחַר שֶׁמִּתְעַכֵּל הַבָּשָׂר הֲרֵי לֹא יִתְבַּע דִּין וְלֹא עוֹמֵד לְהַשְׂטִין, שֶׁהֲרֵי אֵין לוֹ עַל מַה שֶּׁיִּסְמֹךְ, וְלֹא מַזְכִּיר לָאָדָם בְּשׁוּם דָּבָר שֶׁל הָעוֹלָם. אָמַר רַבִּי שִׁמְעוֹן, כָּעֵת יָדַעְתִּי דְבָרִים עַל תִּקּוּנָם, וַדַּאי נָאֶה הוּא לוֹ לְקַטְרֵג.
241. אָמַר לוֹ רַבִּי (שִׁמְעוֹן), חֲגֹר כְּלֵי זֵינְךָ וְהַתְקֵן עַצְמְךָ. אִם תִּרְצֶה לָדַעַת דְּבָרִים שֶׁהִתְחַלְתָּ, אוֹ אִם תִּשְׁאַל בַּדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶּה, אֱמֹר לִי. אָמַר לוֹ, וַדַּאי, הֲרֵי יָדַעְתִּי שֶׁאִשְׁתִּי מֵתָה, שֶׁלֹּא יָדַעְתִּי מִמֶּנָּה כְלוּם. וְהַחֲבֵרִים יוֹדְעִים. נָשִׁים מָה הַטַּעַם דַּעְתָּן קַלָּה?

As long as the flesh is in its existence, Sat-n is ready to inflict judgments. When the flesh is gone, he lost his authority over the body because there is, the flesh is lost. He lost his share. Because of that, it is written;
Job 33:21
“יִכֶל בְּשָׂרוֹ מֵרֹאִי ושפי [וְשֻׁפּוּ] עַצְמוֹתָיו לֹא רֻאּוּ.”
“His flesh wastes away from sight, And his bones stick out which once were not seen.”
“From sight”, means that Sat-n cannot do his work because the flesh is gone. “And his bones stick out”, means that they were not seen by Sat-n, who would come near him, because he has no part in him, since every bone is disconnected from its place. After the flesh is gone, he cannot connect to the person’s body.
Rabbi Shimon said, now I know how these things were established.
Zecharia 3:1
“וַיַּרְאֵנִי אֶת יְהוֹשֻׁעַ הַכֹּהֵן הַגָּדוֹל עֹמֵד לִפְנֵי מַלְאַךְ יְהוָה וְהַשָּׂטָן עֹמֵד עַל יְמִינוֹ לְשִׂטְנוֹ.”
“Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of YHVH, and Sat-n standing at his right hand to oppose him.”

That is, Sat-n stands on his right “to oppose him” as long as he didn’t take off his “filthy clothes” (Zecharia 3:4)
