#244
There are three hundred and sixty-five pillars of fiery light on each side of the four sides of the עזרה, which is the service and preparation area of the sacrifices in the Holy Temple. All these pillars are called living pillars because their light does not stand still in one place; all the pillars, those that ascend and those that descend, give place to each other, and those that ascend hit each other and play a tune. And also, those who go down have a theme. The music they are playing is called “an orphan song” because it doesn’t mention who said it. The song said is Psalm 98:1
“מִזְמוֹר שִׁירוּ לַיהוָה שִׁיר חָדָשׁ כִּי נִפְלָאוֹת עָשָׂה הוֹשִׁיעָה לּוֹ יְמִינוֹ וּזְרוֹעַ קָדְשׁוֹ.”
“A Psalm. Oh, sing to YHVH a new song! For He has done marvelous things; His right hand and His holy arm have gained Him the victory.”
He asks, a new song?!, Is there an old song? It is a song that the angels have yet to praise because it is new. What’s the point of describing it as new? It is because the one who renews his youth, that is, a boy (נער), Metat-n, praises him. And so said the head of the Yeshiva, Metat-n is called new, and he is new, because he always renews his youth, because he adheres to the sun, which is Zeir Anpin, Except for the Sitra Achra, which has no renewal in it, As it is written;
“There is no new” (Ecclesiastes 9:1) because the Sitra Achra is old and does not renew himself.
