144. כֵּיוָן שֶׁרָאָה שֶׁהִסְתַּלְּקָה שְׁכִינָה מִמֶּנּוּ וְכוּ’, הֵם אָמְרוּ: כְּמוֹ שֶׁאֵין בְּלִבְּךָ אֶלָּא אֶחָד, שֶׁאַתָּה בַּסּוֹד שֶׁל הָעוֹלָם הָעֶלְיוֹן וְהוּא אֶחָד – אַף אָנוּ, שֶׁאָנוּ בַּסּוֹד שֶׁל הָעוֹלָם הַתַּחְתּוֹן, הוּא אֶחָד. וְלָכֵן נִזְכְּרוּ שְׁנֵי לְבָבוֹת, סוֹד שֶׁל הָעוֹלָם הָעֶלְיוֹן, שֶׁהוּא הַלֵּב שֶׁל יַעֲקֹב, וְהַסּוֹד שֶׁל הָעוֹלָם הַתַּחְתּוֹן, שֶׁהוּא הַלֵּב שֶׁל בָּנָיו. אָז הִכְנִיס אוֹתָהּ בְּלַחַשׁ.
145. וּכְמוֹ שֶׁהֵם הִתְיַחֲדוּ – הַסּוֹד שֶׁל הָעוֹלָם הָעֶלְיוֹן בְּאֶחָד, וְהַסּוֹד שֶׁל הָעוֹלָם הַתַּחְתּוֹן בְּאֶחָד, אַף כָּךְ אָנוּ צְרִיכִים לְיַחֵד אֶת הָעוֹלָם הָעֶלְיוֹן בְּאֶחָד וּלְיַחֵד אֶת הָעוֹלָם הַתַּחְתּוֹן בְּסוֹד שֶׁל אֶחָד. זֶה בְּשִׁשָּׁה צְדָדִים, וְזֶה בְּשִׁשָּׁה צְדָדִים. וְלָכֵן שֵׁשׁ תֵּבוֹת כָּאן בְּסוֹד שֶׁל שִׁשָּׁה צְדָדִים. וְשֵׁשׁ תֵּבוֹת כָּאן בְּסוֹד שֶׁל שִׁשָּׁה צְדָדִים, (זכריה יד) ה’ אֶחָד וּשְׁמוֹ אֶחָד. אַשְׁרֵי גּוֹרָלוֹ וְחֶלְקוֹ שֶׁל מִי שֶׁשָּׂם רְצוֹנוֹ לָזֶה בָּעוֹלָם הַזָּה וּבָעוֹלָם הַבָּא.

When he saw that the Shechinah had departed from him, Jacob wished to perform the unification openly, that is, to reveal the end of time. His children, the tribes, said, just as in your heart there is only One, for you are in the secret of the Upper World, which is One, so too we, who are in the secret of the Lower World, which is Malchut, have in our hearts only One. Therefore, two hearts are mentioned here. Just as in your heart, so in our hearts, for the secret of the upper World, Zeir Anpin is the heart of Jacob. And the secret of the lower World, which is Malchut, is the heart of the sons. Then they brought the Malchut, the Shechina, whisperly.

Just as they were unified, the upper World in the secret of One and the lower World in the secret of One, we also need to unify the upper World in One and to unify the lower World in the secret of One. Six sefirot on one side and six on the other side. For this reason, there are six words here in ‘Shema Israel’ in the secret of six, Zeir Anpin, and the six words of “ברוך שם כבוד מלכותו לעולם ועד” “Baruch Shem Kevod…”
Blessed is his lot and portion in this World and the World to Come, who sets his heart to this meditation.
