#90
There is not a single word that comes out of a person’s mouth that does not have a sound; that sound ascends above, and many destructive angels connect with it until it rises and awakens the place of the great abyss, where the Klipot are, as we have established. Many of them are raised to punish the person—woe to those who utter evil speech from their mouths.
#91
“Do not place a stumbling block before the blind” is to be taken literally. It was explained about someone who causes another to sin. Also, one who strikes his older son. Also, this verse refers to someone who is not qualified to teach but does so anyway. It is written,
Proverbs 7:26
“For she has cast down many wounded, And all who were slain by her were strong men.”
This is a violation of “and before the blind do not place a stumbling block” because he causes his fellows to stumble in his teachings concerning the world to come.
#92
We have learned that one who walks in the path of the Torah in righteousness and who engages in Torah study appropriately has a good portion in the world to come. For the words of Torah that he utters travel through the world and ascend above. Many holy upper angels connect with that speech, and it ascends in a straight path, adorned with a sacred crown, and bathes in the river of the World to Come, which is Binah, that is emanating from Eden, which is Chokmah, and is accepted, and merges within it. The supernal Tree, which is Zeir Anpin, delights around that river, meaning that it causes Zeir Anpin to receive the illumination of the river from Binah, and then a supreme light is drawn forth and adorns that person all day.
