284. כָּךְ גַּם כָּאן, אָנֹכִי אֲשַׁלַּח גְּדִי עִזִּים מִן הַצֹּאן. וַהֲרֵי בֵּאַרְנוּ בְּלֹא תְבַשֵּׁל גְּדִי. וְכָל אוֹתָם שֶׁמִּצַּד בְּכוֹר הַבְּהֵמָה הֵם בָּאוּ. וְעַל כֵּן לֹא כָתוּב אָנֹכִי אֶתֵּן, אֶלָּא אָנֹכִי אֲשַׁלַּח, אֲגָרֵשׁ וַאֲשַׁלַּח אוֹתוֹ שֶׁלֹּא יִמָּצֵא בְהֵיכָלִי.

So too here, Yehuda replied to Tamar;
Genesis 38:17
“וַיֹּאמֶר אָנֹכִי אֲשַׁלַּח גְּדִי עִזִּים מִן הַצֹּאן וַתֹּאמֶר אִם תִּתֵּן עֵרָבוֹן עַד שָׁלְחֶךָ.” 
“And he said, “I will send a young kid goat from the flock.” So she asked, “Will you give me a pledge until you send it?”
We have already explained, what is the meaning of “kid goat,” as in “לֹא תְבַשֵּׁל גְּדִי בַּחֲלֵב אִמּוֹ” “Do not cook a kid,” (Exodus 23:19) which refers to the Other Side (Sitra Achra) that draws nourishment from the Malchut before its purification (as mentioned in Mishpatim, #564). And all these things come from the side of the firstborn of the animals. Therefore, it is not written “I will give,” but “I will send,” meaning I will drive him out and send it away so that he will not be found in My palace.

Notes:
This section refers to the symbolic representation of the Sitra Achra (the Other Side), often depicted as an opposing force that draws sustenance from Malchut when it is still impure. The “kid” in this passage is linked to the law that forbids cooking a kid in its mother’s milk, a metaphor for spiritual impurity. The Zohar explains that this impurity is associated with the Sitra Achra, which can attach itself to unpurified aspects in the lower world.
The phrase “I will send” instead of “I will give” emphasizes removing this negative force. The act of sending away signifies the distancing of impurity from the King’s realm (palace), ensuring that the sanctity of the spiritual world remains intact. This sending away or banishment symbolizes purification and the elimination of harmful spiritual influences.
