Daily Zohar # 4794 – Terumah – Abundance from Binah

And do not say that only this (judgment) is awakened above because of those below; rather, nothing is awakened above until Israel awakens it below. As we have established, it is written: “תִּקְעוּ בַחֹדֶשׁ שׁוֹפָר בַּכֵּסֶה לְיוֹם חַגֵּנוּ.” “A throne for the day of our festival” (Psalms 81:4). It does not say “for the day of the festival,” but rather “לְיוֹם חַגֵּנוּ” “for the day of our festival,” indicating that the holiness of the festival is awakened above only when Israel sanctifies it below. And this is why it is called “לְיוֹם חַגֵּנוּ” “our festival” because its sanctity is dependent on Israel’s actions. Therefore, it is forbidden for the holy people, who are crowned with the holy crowns of souls, in order to awaken rest and peace, To awaken judgment, for they must all be in a state of willful joy and great love so that they may awaken blessings both above and below together.
Notes:
This teaches that our spiritual actions directly shape the divine flow—we are not passive recipients but active participants in the sanctification of time and the drawing down of Hashem’s blessings.

“Et” (אֶת) is precise, as it specifically refers to Malchut, which is called “Et”, as we have established earlier. “Et” is the Shabbat of its entrance—meaning Friday night, which corresponds to Malchut.
When we say: “בָּרוּךְ ה’ הַמְבֹרָךְ” “Bless Hashem, the Blessed One” (Baruch Hashem Ha’mevorach)—”Baruch” (Blessed) refers to the source of all blessings, which flows from the Fountain of Life (Binah). It is the place from which all sustenance flows to nourish everything—this refers to the Yessod of Binah. And because it is the source that channels blessing through the secret of the Covenant (Yessod of Zeir Anpin), It is called “Ha’mevorach” (the Blessed One)—which is the wellspring (Mabua) of the well (Be’er), For Yesod is the fountain (מבוע, Mabua) that fills Malchut, which is called the Well (בְּאֵר, Be’er). And since the blessings reach Yessod of Zeir Anpin, then certainly, the Well (Malchut) is filled, For its waters, meaning the Chassadim, which are called “water.” never cease to flow.
Notes:
This teaches that Shabbat is not just a time of spiritual rest, but a cosmic event where abundance from Binah is fully channeled into creation, sustaining both the physical and spiritual worlds.
