Daily Zohar # 4848 – Acharei Mot – Keep the letters close to you
Daily Zohar 4848

Hebrew translation:
.
Zohar Acharei Mot
Continued from previous DZ
#332
When the matter still depends on Teshuvah (repentance), but people do not repent, the upper Hei (ה) of the Holy Name YHVH, which is Binah, takes the Vav (ו)—that is, Zeir Anpin, and the Yud (י)—that is, the head of the Yessod, and draws them back up to herself, because the people did not do Teshuva. Then, the combination becomes הוי (Hei–Vav–Yud), which is read as “Hovoy” (woe). This refers to the King (Zeir Anpin) having ascended completely upward into Binah, and people cry out, yet He does not pay attention to them. And sometimes, it is the highest realm, the hidden Name Ehyeh (אהיה), which is Keter, that raises up the Vav (Zeir Anpin) and the Yud (Yessod) to itself because their prayers were not accepted. Then the combination becomes אוי (Aleph–Vav–Yud), which is read as “Oy” (woe). For the Aleph (א)—representing Keter, the hidden “Ehyeh”—has taken the Vav and Yud up to itself. And then there is no longer any Teshuvah, for the Hei (representing Binah, the source of Teshuva) has withdrawn from these letters, for it is no longer dependent on Teshuvah.
Notes:
The Zohar reveals a system where the flow of blessing and forgiveness is encoded in the Holy Names. Teshuvah is the key to sustaining spiritual connection. When people refuse to repent, these channels retract: First into Binah (הוי – still salvageable), Then into Keter (אוי – point of no return). When Binah (ה) is no longer part of the equation, the world enters a state of spiritual exile and silence.
