Hebrew translation:
Tikkun 69 – 133
Genesis 4:20
“And Adah bore Jabal; he was the father of such as dwell in tents and have cattle.”
Javal, one of Cain’s descendants, was busy with accumulating properties and became very rich.
The Zohar teaches us that success and riches on the lower level have no value if there are no connections to the forces of life that comes from the spiritual system.
Isaiah 51:6
“Lift up your eyes to the heavens, look at the earth beneath; the heavens will vanish like smoke, the earth will wear out like a garment and its inhabitants die like flies. But my salvation will last forever, my righteousness (My Tzedakah) will never fail..”
Zephaniah 1:18
“Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of YHVH’S wrath; but the whole earth shall be devoured by the fire of His jealousy; for He will make and end, yea, a terrible end, of all them that dwell in the earth.”
Proverb 11:4
“Riches profit would not help in the day of wrath; but righteousness (Tzedakah) delivers from death.”
Day of wrath is the Day of Judgment, when a person is judged for his actions, if he is under the Tree of Life or under the life of chaos and end.
The desire for self preservation pushes us to connect to the material world and accumulate money and property to have ‘security’ and ability to have all that we need when we are weak and retired.
The illusion that young people have is that they will live forever. Aging and an aching body is far from their awareness until they get into a situation. The young people that seek spiritual knowledge are usually those who experienced serious trauma in life like accidents or a sickness that put them closer to experience death.
The body consciousness keeps us away from working for the soul that is the one that will have to stand and be accounted for all of its actions. On the judgment day nothing of physical value can help our souls except for the effect of our actions on the soul.
A billionaire may donate a million dollars to support his spiritual teacher or community and the effect on his soul could be less than of another person that puts his soul into making a non-financial, sharing work for his community.
Every sharing action, including spiritual connection, should be done with love and desire to bring light to others. Only then the soul grows with added light that becomes a testimony to its actions in this world.
If one is rich, he should remember that all matter is temporary. Money and life don’t have value in the world to come, if it is after life or after Mashiach comes.
God, the spiritual system, will determine if we merit the resurrection or seeing the coming of Mashiach based on the purity of our soul . A rich person should feel responsible for using wisely the borrowed gifts from the light, to channel them in building an ‘empire of life’, where all his work is to build and support the continuation of his business and sustain more families that are happy to work for him.
A poor person still has the same responsibility. His actions should be of sharing his time, spreading the light (continuation) wherever he can. When he connects others to the light, he shares their spiritual fruits because they come out of his branch.
What is Tzedakah?
Tzedakah is the aspect of connecting Malchut to Yessod to bring the life energy from Zeir Anpin to Malchut. Yessod is called Tzadik (righteous) and Tzedek (justice). Yessod includes the light of the 5 Sefirot above itself. Giving money or actions to support spiritual continuation of light is an act of Tzedaka. Giving Money to different humanitarian organizations is a good sharing act but it is defined as donation.
